Anderson would knock him out easily in the first round.

i dont see lombards wild punches hitting anderson. Lombard would get KOed in the 2nd after gassing.

He would come in blitzing and get countered easily, the worst gameplan for Anderson is Hector's.

That's the best gameplan for Anderson.

If you go in there slow you get made a fool of, ala Okami and Maia.

If you go in there and fight Andy, ala Chael and 1st rd. Hendo, you can win.

WAR LOMBARD.

You don't have to stand with somebody to knock their head off.

What about that sounded like hatred?!

Lombard would get blitzed and I'll have that opinion until he signs with a company that can give him some better competition.

I think that if he uses those bungalows to close the gap, protect his face after he throws, and gets silva on the cage, the fight is pretty much over. Lombard is a HUGE middleweight and he could probably ragdoll Silva to the ground.

From there he gets his choice, GnP or sub for the finish.

But I could be wrong. Nothing in MMA is 100%.

I've only seen one guy come to FIGHT Silva and that was Sonnen. If Lombard came to fight Silva I'd give him a chance. I still say a very good wrestler will beat Silva more then half the time.

This is my favorite gif from that fight. Cote barely even moved when he got hit and fired a shot right back.

One word for Lombard: OVERRATED! This squatty little can crusher can't compete with the top of the UFC. Just look at Cung Le. He was the champion in Strikeforce, and came to the UFC getting destroyed by Wanderlei Silva. Not that Wandy isn't good, but he should have been able to beat him. Cung Le was exposed, and Lombard will be exposed by Tim Boetsch. Mark my words

Lombard has just entered the ****list, I'm sick of hearing him call out elite MW fighters like as if he's got the ******* right to. Lombard, if you can beat someone in the top 30 you'll be allowed to call out...Steve Cantwell but until then SHUT THE **** UP.

holy Anik, relax. Whats the big deal in him calling out Silva? He is a tank, on a big winning streak trying to make a name for himself.

As Sonnen said, if your in the UFC, and your calling out somebody thats not the champ, you need to be handed your pink slip. I dont really care for Lombard all too much, but if i was him, i would call out the champion o the division i was in. Not many are riding a 22 fight win streak, Barao has a 29 fight win streak i think, so he as room to talk a little.
