I'm not sure Yair is ready for that wrestling. He'll probably have to stop Edgar to win. Tough task.

...Ortega's been injured and has less UFC fights than Rodriguez as it is.

Anyway, IDK what to think about this one. Love both guys, don't want to see either lose, feels like kind of "too big" a step up for Yair after his last 2 fights were probably steps down from Fili. Could be a great fight though.

So the guy that won a 25 minute split decision over Alex Caceres in August (2nd split win over mid to low level guy) is going to beat Frankie Edgar?It's possible, but unlikely imo.I think Edgar is better standing and on the ground.I really like Yair,but his abilities are getting blown out of proportion imo.I think Edgar dominates.I don't like this match up at all as far as making sense,but it is a fun fight.

I say it's possible Yair wins,but unlikely imo,and you say Yair is going to hurt him bad,and i'm the one acting like it's some easy shutout win and any other pick is dumb?I didn't say it was some shutout for sure win and I didn't indicate picking Yair was dumb.I just said my opinion on the fight,and that I think people are getting a little crazy about Yair.

Nah. No TKO for Frankie. In a five-rounder, maybe. He has the style to make something happen late. But I think in fifteen minutes, Yair is good enough to at least survive. Thinking Edgar takes a comfortable UD.
