Also UFC are flat out crazy for not making this card have Nick/Nate Diaz in there own back yard. Would have made the UFC a killing.

I would like either of those fights normally. But this is not one of those normal instances. If I had to see one fight this year, this was it. Now it's just an ok card. Great, now I will have to spend my time doing something productive.

I'm sure tony is crushed and Khabib is embarrassed. It's funny but I was following the early weigh-in because tony said to khabib good luck with the weight cut. I thought maybe he might miss and only tony would be eligible for the belt, but I didn't see this one coming. It's worse case scenario for this card. On paper this was one of the best fight cards ever, and just like that it's not. Tony was right about this being the true main event.

I feel your pain. I was on my way to work and just checking updates from the early weigh-ins. Ruined my plans for tomorrow night. I couldn't in good faith pay $50 for this card. Had to cancel. If I was only authorized to watch one fight this year, it would have been this one.

Of course, Bruce Buffer's head is in la la land again so he initially announces that Stephen Thompson wins by split decision but it gets revised to a majority draw. Demian Maia suddenly comes into the Octagon wearing a gi. He then takes out a sword and commits seppuku live before UFC fans watching around the world.
