Johnson could outwork him if he fights smart.

Brookins is a beast. I don't know how many people know this but he's actually beaten Yves Joubin and took a 3 round beating to Jose Aldo when Jose first came into the WEC. He'll drop down to 145 again after he destroys Michael Johnson.

agreed @lettke.  after seeing johnson last night fail to open up ANY ground and pound against nam i don't see how he can win this against brookins.  johnson has the energy and wrestling to get takedowns on brookins in round 1, but if he doesn't have the attack to do anything with them it's just gonna be a matter of time before brookins gets his back and polishes it off.

I haven't watched any of this season of The Ultimate Fighter so I have very little idea of the quality of either of these guys. Since they both look to be featherweights fighting up for the show, I'll go with Brookins who has WEC and Bellator experience.

I have Johnson winning via Grind for a round then gassing out a bit and letting Brookins take his neck home.

Have to side with Brookins, looking like a more mature and dynamic fighter at this point.

Johnson struggled in every one of his fights, where Brookins took all his fights very convincingly. Unless Johnson has made some huge improvements in his game over the last few months, he will eventually get caught.

I was alittle dissapointed in Brookins stand up against Watson. Although know the type of worker he is I'm sure he's been filling those holes in his game since the show. Brookins RNC in the second or third

there is too big a skill gap here for johnson to close after only a few months of training. it could be exciting for a bit and johnson could deliver some damage, but he'll make mistakes and pay for them. RNC or triangle.

I was surprised to see how poor Brookins' boxing was and the mistakes he made. I hope he tightens that up because his takedowns and submissions look great. Bright future for this guy.

He is in desperate need of some striking coaches. His ground game is great but that's not good enough to be top of the hill anymore. He can't have that big of a hole in his game and still win.
