Rumored main event for UFC Halifax, since Werdum is refusing to fight JDS. The new age of UFC main events, people. The last win between the two was 20 months ago.

Prediction: wrong Lombard wrong KO/TKO wrong Round 1

I like the fight. Just not as a five-round main event. Think Lombard stops Hendricks. Neither has looked great lately. But Lombard has shown he can still murder people in that opening five minutes, and he doesn't slow down TOO much in round two. Hendricks on the other hand has looked terrible lately.

Lombard should have the advantage here, mainly because he has a tough time making 170 pounds due to muscle and Hendricks has a hard time making 170 due to cheeseburgers. Hendricks honestly should just retire IMO. His mentality sucks and he's not going to be anywhere near champion at 185, too small and too many guys with high level ground games.

I could totally see Lombard smashing Hendricks in the first round. I could also see him blowing his wad again and getting outwrestled in rounds 2 and 3.
