I only got 6/12 but I still managed a decent finish. Too bad I wimped out on picking a Holloway finish.

Conor's win over Max has aged well.

And for all the people who say it was a totally different Holloway, true ... it was also a Conor with a torn ACL.

I had Pettis winning R1. Unfortunate what happened to his hand but Holloway his some beautiful tosses and was on-point throughout.

Aldo-Holloway gonna be nice.

Skelli, I think that fact that Conor was so dominant against Holloway standing before he blew his ACL speaks volumes. Holloway may be a different fighter but even then he was never made look bad striking even on 11 days notice at 19 years old in his debut against Poirier. Leading up to the Mendes fight I kept saying that the best win on his streak was the Holloway fight and Holloway keeps making me look good every time he steps in the cage.

Conor also outstruck Nate in every second of their fights that he had gas in the tank and has made the best strikers on the planet look ridiculously outclassed barring the times he was gassed. Full gas tank Conor is the best striker on the planet ... BUT ... even for a nuthugger like me it would be impossible to ignore that he does have that ***** in his armour.

How many times has Conor torn his ACL? They said that against Mendes too.

@rappin: You implying he didn't tear his ACL in that fight? Because he got reconstructive surgery and was out for a year directly following it.

Vannata had a Knockout of the Year contender, Swanson-Choi was a fight of the year contender, Brown-Cerrone was also awesome with a great finish, and Holloway, Gastelum, & Cirkunov all had great performances.

I went to this live. Had some pretty damn solid seats, and had a ******* blast. Can't believe I was there for a goddamn wheel-kick. Can't believe I was there for Doo Ho Choi vs. Cub Swanson, one of the best fights I've seen in a long time. The crowd loved the Canadians. This entire card delivered. And I am so happy about it.

@skelli, it's a known fact that fighters have reconstructive ACL surgeries to fake an ACL tear if they don't finish a fight. Everyone does it.

@rappinpap, before the Mendes fight he had a partial tear that prevented him from doing a lot during camp (up until two weeks or so before the fight), leading up to the fight and since that camp is so documented, I'd say it's not that hard to see that Conor doesn't look the same as usual throughout the whole thing.

Given the fact that Conor won both the Mendes and Holloway fights decisively and ALWAYS shows up I'd say you can give him the benefit of the doubt and cut him some slack for once. You can say a lot about him, but he's no crybaby and never makes excuses. He fights injured, he doesn't pull out of fights because his camp was less than perfect and he doesn't consistently "need a few more weeks if I'm gonna fight that guy" like some other fighters out there (which I understand by the way, to each his own, but Conor is the complete opposite).

Also, it's not uncommon for ACLs that have already torn and been repaired to re-tear and whether you treat it with surgery or rest usually depends on how bad the tear is.
