I don't even really want to see this fight I think it would be a bad move for GSP and he should just stay at the weight he is at. I would rather see Jon Jones win  4 or 5 fights as the champ then have him fight Silva.

I really dont think that would be a good fight? Anderson is far to big for GSP to handle, the only way for Anderson is up to lightheavy, but Dana wont want to destroy the soon to be John Jones legacy. Thats the way i'm seeing things, Dana knows how good Jones can be & is, but i'm sure Anderson would school him if they fought.

An earlier article said Dana acknowlegded that the GSP/Anderson fight may have to happen now... so now I'm confused.

as the fight would generate loads of money for dana and the rest of the ufc this fight wont happen they dont wanna destory their legacys. Gsp would lose a close fight anderson to big and long. same goes for the AS vs JBJ. AS would lose this one but still a good fight JBJ is also to big strong and long. none of these fight will happen tho i would like to see the AS vs JBJ best "superfight i can think of right now aneone agree

@Kalibo. Yeah I seen this interview with Ariel as well though. So this is exactly what he said in that interview. Maybe he has mixed feelings about it. I'm not too sure.

Whoever wins Sonnen/Stann is getting Silva next and GSP is probably getting Condit if Condit can beat Penn. @soccer and I were talking about this and he brought up a good point by saying the UFC wants people to talk about it but they don't actually want it to happen. I think matching up a 205er with a 170er is kind of ridiclous and I think the UFC realizes that as well.

I do think they should fight in a heavier weightclass, GSP should take a fight at 185 and Silva at 205, I dont see either one ever losing in thier weight class, GSP isnt that small of a guy and I think he could beat almost anyone at 185, it would be a better challange for GSP than fighting Condit

Most likely, not gonna happen.

I'd be interested in either fight... GSP/AS or AS/JBJ.

Jersey is right, after Diaz beats GSP they can do the real superfight, Jones/Silva.

I would rather see as vs jones.  Id like to see them all standing together to see the physical size differences.

i dont think the idea of this fight in all that good unless it is at a catch weight

cause if GSP loses to silva at MW then the excuse could always be mad that it wasnt at his prefered weight class and vise versa for if silva went to middle weight

in my personal opinion i think silva vs rua or jon jones would both be more entertaining fights

i think if GSP and silva do meet silva will lose no matter what division it is in because gsp is a better all around fighter then silva is.

We ALL know what would happen in this fight and it would be pretty embarrassing for GSP.

There's no way the the UFC is going to put his aura of invincibility in jeopardy for 1 massive payday when he can give them many, many more slightly smaller paydays.
You don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.... and GSP is that goose.
