Predictions: 11 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 675 Points   |   Tied for 161st

The fighters are weighed in and two missed the mark. Felipe Arantes missed weight by 2 lbs, forefeiting 20% of his purse to Perez, while Charles Oliveira tied a UFC record for his fifth career miss (he now shares the distinction with John Lineker.) He was off by a whopping 9 lbs and will forfeit 30% of his purse to Lamas, who agreed to what is now essentially a lightweight fight he weighed in at 146 for.

By my (rough) estimates, this should grant Lamas in the neighborhood of an extra $15k for taking the fight, win or lose, and the 30% fine marks a step in a new direction for the promotion, which will now be increasing fines depending on the severity of the miss.

Anyway, this is a great card overall. The action kicks off on UFC Fight Pass at 630pm ET before switching to FS1 for the rest of the night at 8pm.

Enjoy!

2-2 going into the 5th. Very good fight, technical, bad intentions and both fighter look to have enough in the gas tank in round 5 of a high altitude fight.

Has RDA been "figured out"? I have the impression that everyone who fights Dos Anjos from now on will try to move forward with jabs and maim his lead leg...

This has to go to Ferguson. Even the harshest judge couldn't give RDA more than 3 rounds.

I took RDA, but Ferguson likely has at least a 48-47. Great fight from both. Ferguson really has some great cardio.

48-47 was fine Dos Anjos won rd 1. And rd 3 was very close and RDA looked good the latter 2 minutes of that round. However 2, 4 & 5 were all Ferguson.

I thought Ferg took 2-5 easy. 3rd was close but RDA only had 1 min. of success in that round.

After thoughts on the main event...

-RDA doesn't seem the same, didn't have Cordeiro which hurt him, but Ferguson is damn good.
-It was a great win for Tony, I picked him, but I think Khabib is still ahead of him with a win at 205.

@mikey, I disagree, the only thing Khabib had over Tony was the win over RDA. Now that Ferguson beat RDA, his streak being the longer and more substantial one and his win over RDA being WAY more recent I think that Tony is ahead of him in line.

Even with a win over Johnson (which some may use to put Khabib over Ferguson with via MMATh), you still have to dig too far in the past (Khabib's win over RDA, which has been nullified, and Ferguson's loss to MJ) to make the case for Khabib over Tony.

RDA losing the belt to Eddie pretty much put Khabib back a spot or two. Khabib beat #5 ranked RDA more than 2 years ago and that's his only top guy in the streak. Ferguson beat #2 ranked RDA to top a 9 fight winning streak and takes the cake, imo.

Not that I'd mind Khabib getting the shot, I like him better, I just think there's a VERY clear #1 contender as of tonight.

There's absolutely no way Khabib should get the shot over Ferguson at this point. Reward fighters for being active and exciting, not for being inactive, whiny divas. No more Tyron Woodleys please.

Yeah Ferguson is much more deserving. Between 2014 and now Ferguson has rattled off 8 straight wins while Khabib only has 2. Khabib beat RDA and Horcher. Where Fergusun has beat RDA, Barboza, Josh Thomson, Tibau and four others. The best thing Nurmagamedov has is he can be marketed as undefeated challenger.

Avila or Lobov either one...

Predictions: 0 of 0 Winners, 0 Perfect, 0 Points   |   Tied for 1390th

Between Avila and Artem these two clowns probably get the best training (either in there own camps or just be the sheer volume of special training from various experts around the world who come on to train there "sugar daddys") of any fighters in the sport... and they turn out with performances like this.. Absolutely NO excuse why Chris or Artem are still even fighting in the UFC...Its magnified a 1000 times just based on this point alone.

Avila has one of the very best boxing coaches in MMA and he fights like this? Thats not even pro level fighting what hes doing.. Hes either incredibly incredibly "dense" with absolutely NO fight IQ  (like Artem) or hes just soo stubborn that its a wonder that they have not walked away from him in his own camp.

Now the kid Avila fought is better than he or Artem either one has faced...hes a good young fighter... but still there is absolutely NO excuse for Avila's performance.. They need to cut this kid quick.. he just doesnt have it...
