So how long before Alvarez/McGregor is at least put in here as rumored because it's going to happen.

And according to a Sherdog forum post, Marcos Rogerio de Lima says on Instagram that he's fighting Gian Villante.

It'll be weird seeing Thiago Alves at LW but I think he makes it semi easy compared to what most assume,he's slimmed down every fight consistently and seemed like the right thing for him to do despite once being one of the biggest WW's.Also,Rashad finally moves down to MW,too bad it probably doesn't matter now.I understand Connor getting a title shot cause he's the biggest money machine in the UFC, but it's just silly considering he hasn't fought there in the UFC and there's guys on 6 and 8 fight win streaks.I can't really complain too much,it'll be fun watching Eddie whoop that ass.

Conor can't handle wrestlers. He wouldn't have a size advantage against Alvarez, and Alvarez would be in better condition than Mendes was. Conor would get wrestle****** and TKO'd in the championship rounds.

If this headliner sticks it's going to be Conor's 3rd 1.5M+ PPV in a row (and 4th consecutive 1.2M+). Seeing as apart from his PPVs only the most stacked card in UFC history, with GSP, Brock both fighting for titles and a legendary US vs. Brit grudge match has ever passed 1.5M before that's pretty crazy.

Love him or hate him, he has changed the game as he predicted (for better or for worse, since now the cash has started flowing I'm getting a boxing duck-n-dodge feeling about MMA's direction so I'm not sure I like it, but it's happened so who cares what I like).

EDIT:: If they stack this card the way I think they're going to this may even turn out to be the first MMA card to eclipse 2M PPV buys and become what UFC 200 was supposed to be. As of now I'm getting way ahead of myself and it depends on what the rest of the card will look like (who Cerrone will fight, which other needle movers they match up on the card), but the potential is there.

Lesnar vs JDS would be a good draw for this card .

I would guess cause she was ready and it was set up a long time ago?Not that Katlyn is a big draw but early on maybe they were looking for some local fighters so Katlyn was set up for the roster and Liz was ready to sign early so they had a fill in fight for the prelims.Plus Katlyn iirc looked great in her last fight,so I think it's possible Liz is on the card more just as an opponent for the local Katlyn Chookagian.Idk how local she is but she fights out of Jersey City and that's like a half hour or so from MSG.

They really don't have a lot of local's on the card so I think it was just getting more locals then them deserving to be on the card. Also Katlyn does have a lot of potential with an 8-0 pro/ 7-0 ammy record this will give them a chance to possibly turn her into an instant star (for a lack of a better term) as far the New York crowd and give them someone to remember and support in the future.Just my guess

Edit: there is still only 12 fights, they could still get another fight or two, especially considering at least 1 or more will get scratched or changed most likely.I feel like once they get a huge main event or main card they don't really give a **** about the 12th or 13th fights in the past, when fights drop they don't try to fill it cause people will buy it anyway. So I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with 11 fights on this card like has happened so many times before when big cards lose fights.

The cursed three title fight card. Not a good sign. Look no further than UFC 200 for evidence of the curse.

UFC 200, Invicta 7, Bellator 106, and UFC 33 all suffered one way or another because of this lapse in matchmaking. The MMA Gods do not like this offense.

@Kuma, thanks man. sounds like thats the case. Im glad shes gonna get a bit extra money. the UFC kind of forgot about her after a couple of fights in the UFC, they could´ve pushed her a bit more, a lot of people liked her after she fought Rousey.

It would be great if they added the Johnson vs Khabib fight. it would add up to the card and to the story

I'm worried about Toronto at this point. Jammed between NYC and NYE show. What the **** are we gonna get? I'd like DC/Rumble II or Aldo/Holloway. But I doubt they like us enough for that LHW fight. And Aldo doesn't seem happy with the UFC lately, rightfully so. So idk what the **** we're getting and it scares me. All that's even rumored for Toronto is Letourneau vs. a Brazilian making her debut.
