Close to the KO?  Really?  I saw some hits but nothing like that. He also whiffed a bunch of times.

How much better would this PPV be with Sabah Homasi vs. Mike Perry on Fight Pass and Means vs. Lim & Magny/Larkin on the main card?

re: mule Card placement is pretty irrelevant personally. I'm watching all 12 fights in a row so

but Lim v Means would be a nice improvement over the two squash matches

at least Lim and Means are both fantastic at beating (relatively) random dudes up

Connor is so far up his own ass thinking he was dominating the fight so badly and in his words claiming he was 1-2 clean shots away from putting Diaz away. Nate was never at any point rocked or stunned, ironically Connor was the one who was 1-2 shots away from being put away but turned into a wrestler instead of going out on his shield.

I'm putting real money down on Diaz this fight, thinking around 100$.

I feel like I need to rewatch that fight, because personally I remember Conor beating Diaz quite handily in the first.  Diaz was never close to being finished, but I recall him def looking stunned at least once.  Feel like some people watch completely different first rounds then I did.............because in my opinion Conor clearly won that round, I don't even recall it being debatable, but several people seem to think otherwise.

I just rewatched the fight, and my impression matches with what I remembered.  I had McGregor winning the first round, but it was hardly dominant.  Diaz landed about 4 or 5 fewer strikes and had a cut, but then Diaz cuts easily so I didn't really factor that into the scoring.  Never saw either guy wobbled at all in the first round, and gave a 10-9 to McGregor for a higher number of strikes landed.

And of course, the second round Diaz rocked McGregor and choked him out.

I dont think the 1st round is debatable but I definetly never thought it was a dominant rd for Conor, I always thought he won it, but it was close, it was almost the last 2 minutes when Conor started landing clearer shots, and he landed 2 or 3 of those and Diaz was close behind on strikes.  I still remember Diaz's grin at the camera between rounds, he knew **** was gonna hit the fan.

I read that McGregor spent I believe it was 300 grand bringing in guys to train for Diaz. The only problem is, there are no other fighters like Nate Diaz...other than Nick Diaz. How many guys in MMA have his length, boxing, jiu jitsu, and will make fun of you and talk **** to you DURING a fight? I can think of 2 and they're both STOCKTON ************. He wasted 300k and is going to take another L.

I believe Mcgregor can beat Nate. It's not going to be a walk in the park and he can't go in there and try knocking his head off like he tried to last fight. I think if he goes in there with that mindset and game plan again we will have the same results as last fight. But I think he has changed his game plan. I really believe that all the media obligation takes a toll on you. Especially when it comes to training. You can't do interviews and photo shoots and all of that kind of stuff and still remain on top of your game without adequate training to go along with it. I think we'll see a completely different Conor McGregor this fight than we did last fight.
