Pretty standard procedure. You give the guy who was about to fight for the title an opponent he should defeat so that when the champ is healthy that fight can still take place.

I don't really see Reis still getting the title shot after this however. If MM is out for any length of time when he comes back he'll be fighting the TUF 24 tournament winner and then Benavidez should get the shot if he beats Cejudo. At least they're signing some more flyweights.

I'm sure the kid is decent, comes from a good team, but reis should prove to be too much.
