Ehh I felt like that could have gone on longer. Most of those shots were blocked, Matthews also moved. Great performance by Lee anyway.

Not a lot of damage, but he had Matthews wrapped up. Dominant. Matthews is green and over-aggressive, but lot of potential.

The 1st of 5 underdogs hit for me.

Too soon but Lee vs Ill Will seem like they would match up well against each other.

I picked Mutante next. He's inconsistent but he has the potential to win this fight. Same as Lee not sure why all the love for Anthony Smith. Another fairly even fight stylistically.

crap, so much for the perfect start... I don't like Lee personality at all, but he has undeniable potential. also thought it was early stoppage, but Matthews didn't even complain. kinda looked like he quit.

@vazio Agreed. That major upset that Santos pulled off against Lee really brought the doubters out. Like I said no fan of Lee and his personality but he's a very good fighter. He;s got all the makings of a Top 7-12 type of dude.

That hurt just typing this. I usually don't bash fighters too often but it was nice seeing Santos serve Lee up with some of that humble pie.

Lee has one of the best striking coaches in the game, Dewey Cooper.  Just thought Matthews was too diverse of a fighter for Lee.

Cezar has an all-time garbage chin. We'll see if his potent offense is enough to save him.

I can't stand Mutante, it may have to do with my disdain for Vitor, but regardless I wish Sarrafian would have taken him out.

Mutante tends to get laid out a lot that's always what I bank on.

@lopati I'm with you on this. Sarrafian is a much more likable person, Mutante is as dumb as they come. If wasn't for his shaky chin, he could turn into something though.

@skelliher Agreed on Mutante's suspect chin but I think he's got a huge grappling advantage and if he's smart he can win this easily with his grappling. But that chin though.
