Welcome to the squad.
I'm a very busy person and will tell you guys now that I might suck as a captain. Someone had to step up to keep this season going. We are blessed however to have a wonderful co-captain, dtrain24.

Berserker: Gets points based on how he/she ranked in the weekend comp.
Wild card: The guy/gal on your team that ranked the highest in the weekend comp (who's not the berserker).
If either of these people don't crack the top 20 (which I highly doubt will happen with joe on your team, since he'll most likely be the wild card even if you haven't officially designated him as berserker more times than not), you don't get any bonis points.

It just sucks that it's so time consuming. I'll volunteer as a wildcard guy for this weekend. I'll have time anyway since I'll be "busy" recovering from a wisdom teeth removal surgery I'm getting on Thursday.

On topic, now that I'm back home, I'll try to pick all events this week (and will try to pick all of them for the rest of the season). The way the Berserker/wildcard thing works is that the designated berserker gets additional points based on his place in the weekend competition, down to 20th place. Anything lower than 20th scores zero bonus points. The wildcard is whoever else on the team scores highest on the weekend competition. So, to increase chances of scoring points, the more people on the team who make all weekend picks, thebetter the odds of bonus points. So if 4 people other than the designated berserker make all the picks and finish 5th, 9th, 16th and 23rd, the wildcard would be the guy who placed 5th, earning 205 points.
So, while I'd rather not be berserker this week, I'll try to make all the picks in hopes of getting lucky and finishing high enough to earn some points. The more of us who make all the weekend competition picks, the better.
