There are so many fighters in the region that I'm 100% certain are way closer to Joe Silva's radar than Avila.
Don't get me wrong, Avila's solid and may get much better, nor will I be totally shocked if he wins the fight because Artem isn't good, but my guess is he got this fight because Nate or Conor suggested some sort of a "gym war" to spice up the card, since they've both been going back and forth about each other's teams, not only themselves.
