This should be a fun one!

Man what an exciting fight!

I am really curios to see how Pettis does with the weight cut, he was never a really big lightweight so i assume it will not be too bad.

I still believe Pettis will finish him in the 2nd round.

Pettis just seems really mentally broken. I think Oliveira can beat him if he doesn't get caught.

I just hope Pettis gets it together and gets the win. I don't really like seeing a dude who constantly misses weight going up the ranks like that. Cut the damn weight or just go back up a weight class...

@mikeyg do you think that Pettis training at Jackson's will help with that?

I kinda feel that him checking to see if the grass is greener may mess with him as well.

When looking at the last 3 fights I can kind of see him taking away a positive that 1 guy is champ, 1 is fighting the champ, and 1 is on his way up the ranks to fight champ.

But I agree he needs to be mentally there to win.

If Pettis loses this, it'll show how far down hill he's gone.
Oliveira has shown that he's a bit fragile, he's not the best at taking a shot. If Pettis can land one of those hard body kicks, Charles will go down. If he loses, then it'll be quite obvious that USADA is what ****** Pettis's game up.

@ben Oliveira started his career at LW...I guess this is at featherweight though. I didn't know Pettis was dropping a weight class.

It would be very funny if Oliveira misses weight again.

Not sure 145 is a good look for Pettis... Hope he gets back on track with a win but wouldn't be surprised if he drops this one.
