I think Sotiropolous is overrated, and his striking and strike defense are not that great. However I don't think Siver is the man to prove this, although I think it will be a good fight. They should put Sots in with Guillard after he wins this, winner gets shot at Frankie.

Sotiropolous has that intangible ability to win fights. Everything else equal, G-Sot will win. At some point he'll fight a real badass and it won't matter, he'll get stopped. But Siver showed his ground weakness in his last fight - even tho he won it by submission! He still looked goofy doing it and that is where Sotiropolous will take this fight.

Siver been looking good lately but G-Sot is looking better. This is almost a classic striker vs grappler affair. Siver on Paper is better standing than G-Sot, and G-Sot is way better on the ground. But the difference in skill on the feet is much smaller than the difference of skill on the ground. Short of a Tommy Spears type incident Sotiropoulos will win.

G-Sot is too good for Siver. I think it's a slap in the face that they keep giving him opponents he is clearly ahead of. Sotiropoulos wins quick and needs a step up. No disrespect Dennis Siver, you could spinning back kick my body in half.

This fight is just a stylistic nightmare for Dennis Siver.
The only decision I feel like I need to make is what round G-Sot is going to submit Siver in. It sucks because I really like Dennis Siver and love watching the guy fight. With the right opponent he puts on a hell of a show. When put up against someone with a ground game like G-Sot's though I don't give him much of a chance at all.

I can see Siver winning the fight on the feet, and having good enough takedown defense to keep it their, and if it goes to the floor, he'll be good enough not to get submitted. However, I'm still picking Sot. Not sure why to be honest.

I think G-Sot will take this one. I thought he looked great when I watched his fight at 123. I saw him signing autographs for people too. Nice guy.
Siver is a dangerous striker, but George should be able to take this to the ground.
