Apparently, Woodley feels Wonderboy should fight Rory or Condit before he's earned his shot.

Wow!

So "confident" in himself and how great a champion he’s gonna be he decides to wait a year in fear of losing his "promised" title shot. Well, **** that, that's on him.

Nothing in the recent past has shown that title shot promises mean jack ****.

He beat K-1 DHK and Gastelum (neither immeidate contenders), froze against Rory (who’s lost to the champ twice) and banked on Condit getting injured to "beat" him, pretty solid, but none of that screams undisputed #1 contender who can wait a year for a title shot and get it no matter what else happens.

Wonderboy just beat the #1 contender, the guy who some would argue beat the champ twice and he did it with an exclamation point by making him look like he didn’t belong in the cage with him.

Woodley's acting like because Johny didn’t make weight against him the UFC need to treat that as a win. GTFO!  If you're so scared Wonderboy's going to "cut in front of you", call him the **** out! Make a point that you're the one (or should I say "The Chosen One"), don't hide behind technicalities and say "oh, but you promised me the shot" and "he only beat the guy I was gonna beat anyway but he missed weight". **** that. Him missing weight means one thing - they didn't fight. That's it.

Best thing to do, imo, would be let Wonderboy and Woodley fight for the spot.

Robbie’s been talking about wanting time off for a while. Give him 6 months, have Wonderboy and Woodley decide between themselves who’s the more worthy and then set it up.  But if any one of them’s currently closer to the undisputed #1 contender spot, it’s most definitely Wonderboy.

Tyron should be calling out Wonderboy, not sending him off to fight a guy who beat him.

Agreed.  If Woodley has sand in his ****** over the fact that Wonderboy is getting a title shot over him, that's on him to challenge Thompson to a fight to earn his shot back.  He shouldn't be playing closed door politics with Dana to take what was rightfully earned by Thompson.  It's not Dana's fault Woodley hasn't fought in a year and that Woodley's last impressive "victory" was against Condit, who only lost because he ****** up his knee.  Woodley should have been proactive and got another fight, or at least ask to re make Woodley vs Hendricks for another card.  For him to think that he can get a title shot after not fighting for a year is outright delusional.

I'd still like to see Condit get revenge on Woodley, and Lawler for the b/s decision but...Tyron doesn't deserve anything. Wonderboy beat the guy who arguably beat Condit and Lawler twice. On top of that I would pick Hendricks, McDonald (again) and Lawler to beat Tyron as well.

T-Wood is delusional if he's still waiting on his "promised" title shot. Lawler has plenty of fights ahead of him. Condit, GSP, or even a small MacGregor rumor, if he beats RDA, is floating around twitter between Botter & FRB.

You'd think Woodley would know that promises of title shots in the UFC mean very little until you actually sign a contract. Just ask Frankie Edgar.

Woodley shouldn't have decided to wait around for a promise he should know better than to trust. While he's been resting on his laurels, Thompson has made a better case for the chance at the belt. Give Woodley Condit or Rory again.

I think Condit is the most deserving, follow by Thompson. Woodly can go lick a rock some where for all I care.  Him and Hendricks are so whiny.

Agreed. Woodley is being a *****. They should just give him Diaz and let the slapping commence.

The only time I'm ever conflicted about Woodley and Hendricks is when they're whining about each other ... then I don't know who to back.

well, there´s no doubt Woodley  is way off on this one, but in a land of ******** tritle shots, I think he probbaly has better odds at getting that shot than Thompson... but wait!, here comes Nick Diaz and swoops in for another crack at the belt.

The best way to get title shots is win and win impressively. The more fans you get on your bandwagon the faster you get a shot.  You can't expect to get a title shot by whining about getting one. If the Champ has other opponents lined up show why you deserve that shot instead of the person they gave it to and why you would be a good champ. If you sit out for a year waiting for a shot then it shows me as a fan that you are afraid to lose. How do you expect to defend the title if you won't even fight a title eliminator.

his controversial decision over a fat, dehydrated Gastelum definitely warrants a title shot at Donald Duck.

Woodley hasn't done anything notable since August of 2014. Wonderboy, Brown and Maia are both ahead of him imo
