The lines are shakey, for a tattoo that is supposed to be 3d its extremely flat because the shading doesnt make sense. It leans down towards the right side of the photo and that is some of the worst "chrome lines" i have ever seen. Honestly if someone at my shop did a tattoo that bad they would be fired.

Can you imagine the movement they had to deal with doing that on his throat? You can't swallow... your breathing has to be slowed and stuff...even a pulse may have been felt toward the sides there.

Its quality over old school quantity. I think the tattoo industry changed a ton when the "art ***" movement happened. I dont say it in a negative way because im a fan of it personally but its been called that way too often in my time in the industry. Art is a skill and tattooing is a skill and nowadays to be a good tattoo artist you have to have both skills. Its like mma in that sense. Ten years ago you could be a great tattooer and just copy designs and get along great. You could also get business because you could draw well even if you couldnt tattoo to save your life now, you need both or you just put out ****** tattoos like whats on thiagos throat.

Maybe it won't look as bad once it fades in, but he needs more design around the crown itself.
