UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor Discussion Thread

These fight man, holy ****, almost all of them are badass as ****. I really like McGregor, but if the Aldo that shows up on point comes in tonight, he's going to light up Conor's legs, slow him down, win the grappling, and ultimately either stop him latter on in the fight or win on the cards. McGregor winning would make that place explode but McGregor needs to win this fight within 2 rounds imo and I don't like picking based on that at all, and I'd say Mendes hits harder than Conor and Aldo took everything Mendes had.

I see Rockhold taking that belt from Weidman, think he's more athletic, has more power, has more diversity in his submissions and strikes, has the cardio and eventually stops him with a sub or strikes. Would not be surprised if Weidman took him out early with a big punch and GnP but Rockhold is just too on point. Rockhold is not likely to be bullied by anyone in there, and I can't wait to see Rockhold or Weidman vs the winner of Jacare vs Romero (I think it'll be Romero).

Romero vs Jacare is a fight where I'm actually really confident in one guy, and that's Romero, I don't see how Jacare is going to get Romero down and I don't see him being able to hang with Romero on the feet unless he just throws a few punches and clinches the whole fight. I don't see Romero being able to let himself lose, every time he's faced a fight where he's losing, he comes on later on and smashes them. I see this being no different, even though I think he'll stop Jacare, when he loses, he's most dangerous.
