The fighters are weighed in, and this **** is actually happening!!! The whole main card stayed intact!

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 630pm ET Saturday night before switching to FS1 at 8pm. As always, the PPV main card starts at 10pm.

Here's hoping we get something to top or rival UFC 189.

Enjoy!

If McGregor ducks Edgar and vacates the 145 belt because his coach is *****ing about weight cutting, then he becomes a paper champion.  He is OBLIGATED to defend that belt.  He doesn't get to cherry pick who he gets to fight.  He fights who the #1 contender is, and that right now is Frankie Edgar.  So he needs to sack up and make the weight.

If rousey got her ass handed to her in brutal fashion and she gets an immediate rematch,Jose should get the same treatment, but we all know that wont happen, Dana wont risk Mcgregor losing the belt that fast.

Connor did his thing and Aldo delivered his chin on a silver platter, it was his most expensive mistake.

Rockhold won and Weidman got his ass kicked in beautiful fashion, and I'm ******* thirlled.

to my downvoters
Aldo did exactly the same thing than Bader did against Machida and the result was exactly the same, if you dont think that is delivering your chin on a silver platter, you are a moron.

if you are butthurt because weidman got his ass kicked, you can go blow him right now and make his night a bit easier. enjoy.

if you are neither of those people and you downvote me for any other reason...move along and have a good night.

You are right, Aldo did the same thing Bader did...get knocked out by the better fighter. Next.

I honeslty think than any person who has been watching mma for several years can't honestly and reasonably believe that a 13 second fight can determinate who is the better fighter. I guess JDS was a better fighter than Cain but then Cain became a much much better fighter in question of months.

Connor was better this night no doubt about it, and maybe he is better than Aldo, but im not buying that for a quick knock out, if you want to buy it go ahead.

@Nomad

McGregor got the luckiest knockout in his entire career.  There was nothing decisive about it, nor did McGregor prove definitively that he was the better fighter.  The only thing that was proven was that he got the luckiest break in the world.

Holm/Rousey proved who the better fighter was. A fighter got systematically dismantled in a every possible way.

Aldo/McGregor doesn't prove anything. It proves that Aldo got over-aggressive vs. probably the best counter-puncher in the division and paid for it. That doesn't make Conor a better fighter. At all.

It might not have definitively proved Connor was the better fighter, but he definitely didn't get lucky, it takes skill to capitalize on an opening and the power and technique to put a guy down with 1 punch.

The butthurt is strong tonight with the Connor haters.

I felt bad for Aldo. He had to listen to all of Conors BS and then gets humilated. Conor really did deserve an asset whooping tonight.

I was at the bar for the fights with a couple of friends. I've been on the McGregor bandwagon since his UFC debut. Some of my friends can't stand Conor, and were confident Aldo would humble him, so we had some beer bets going. I lost on Weidman but pulled even with my fellow Irishman. In fact I was over in Ireland for some holiday during the BLC Finals. Didn't have time to visit his gym though. Mystic Mac talks a lot of trash pre fight, but keeps it respectful after. He put in a lot of work hyping and selling this fight, and it paid off! As annoying as the Conor fans might be, I don't have anything against Aldo, but his fans are too ****y for me.

Here's the crowd reaction at the bar I was at:
