Italy and Israel seem like really odd choices, but international shows are always good. The London show should be great.

Italy has some potential.  So does Israel due to the people from the Ex-Soviet Republics.

These three countries have international distributions deals. Viacom has spike tv uk and Bellator has some key Uk fighters. Most likely Bellator has local partners in Israel and Italy, who cover all the costs, and Bellator gets a flat fee to run shows there.

It'll be interesting to see how they draw in all those locations.

They should do well in the UK- its historically been hard to watch here (I believe its now on the uk version of spike, but before that wasnt shown here, and for some reason probably the biggest cable surplier dont carry it so i still dont have it) but they do have a lot of English fighters.
Im certainly thinking of a road trip if the dates work.

Alessio Sakara is such a handsome man. I'll Bill Cosby him after Roger's knocks him out.

That's a good fight

i thought rogers kinda deserved a higher up opponent after the Zwicker win but i understand having to build up the Brain Rogers brand again after all  those losses. Kinda hoping he goes on some unforseen title run.

Also i think the main should be Marloes vs Julia for the 145lb womens title.

Rest of the Italy card

Danilo Belluardo vs Aj Mc Kee
Filip Kotarlic vs. Daniele Miceli

Anastasia Yankova name is also mentioned, but not name of her opponet or if her fight will be MMA or kickboxing, most likely MMA. Apparently, there will be 5 MMA bouts. These news came from the press conference via
http://www.mma-europa.com/mma-europa/bellator-italia-a-torino-si-svelano-le-carte/1928/

Mmajunkie reports that Melvin will fight in a kickboxing fight.
Edit: Anastasia Yankova has signed a long term deal with Bellator

Manhoef should retire before his brains start leaking out his ears.

I thought his brains already started leaking out of his ears when Lawler KOed him.

I just hope they don't have one of their Sharock-Gracie-Kimbo kind of fights headlining the Israel card (and that the card actually happens) because I plan on being in attendance and don't really want to watch akimbo Slice do anything.

Why would they book a fight like that in Israel?

Well, because Israelis know jack **** about MMA so there's actually a good chance they try to draw them in with freak-shows and guys with more hits on Google searches rather than rely on their knowledge of the sport.

Also, I didn't say they would, I just said I hope they don't.

MMA has been in Israel since at least 1997 so I think they would know something.
