Rousey's in the hospital. She was taken to be checked on due to the brutal knock out and she had to get her lip stitched because it was broken in half.

Tossed a dog bet on Holm at +1000 odds. Not a big bet, but happy nonetheless.

I may be in the minority here but how in the hell does Ronda deserve an immediate rematch? She was completely dominated from bell to bell and because she beat other girls with minimal skills she gets a rematch right away? Holly Holm proved tonight she is the best women's BW on the planet and it's not even close. This fight went everywhere even where Ronda was supposed to have an advantage and Holly handled her with ease. This was not a lucky punch this was dominance. Holly will win the 2nd fight and go on a Chris Weidman type run.

I'm mad at myself I didn't go with Holly on my picks here but I sure am glad I put her on my draft kings line up. Goodnight fellow Tapologists and God bless the new champion Holly Holm!

Amazing Holm interview. So humble and emotional. Could not be more happy that she will be representing the division.

I think at this point, Ronda is either fighting for the UFC belt or she's not fighting at all. She'll be #1 on the UFC rankings come Monday.

She basically cleared out the division prior to her fight with Holm. There's nothing she needs to prove to show that she deserves to be fighting for the title. Also she's still synonyms with the UFC's women's division to the greater MMA audience.

They'll sell an angle to convince people that there was an excuse for why she lost the title in the first place, just like they did with Anderson. I think Ronda looked better against Holm than Anderson looked against Weidman (the first time he fought him).

Sometimes when you get murked as bad as Ronda did, you need to find yourself and improve your skills before rematching the person that did the murking. Does she deserve an immediate rematch? Sure. Will she get one if she wants? You betcha. Should she take 1 or 2 more fights and really work on her mentality, approach and expending while refining her skills? If I were her manager I'd suggest it.

Both challengers definitely brought it tonight. Ronda totally reminded of Brock against Cain. Maybe her mom was right about Edmond being a terrible coach.

I personally think Rhonda Rousey got exactly what she deserved tonight. Behave like a **** with no sportsmanship or respect whatsoever and this is what happens to you. The Ronda Rousey hype train has been derailed and Holly Holm did it in devastating and dominant fashion!!!! What better way to get your first finish in the UFC than for a world title against the supposed baddest woman on the planet.

Joe Rogan said  that Rhonda Rowsey was more than just a once-in-a-lifetime type athlete, she was a once ever type athlete. Really Joe Rogan? If that's the case about Rhonda Rowsey, then what does that say for Holly Holm? IMHO, I think that it's Holly Holm who is the once ever type athlete. She is the first person ever to win world championships in boxing, kickboxing, and MMA, not not only being a champion, she is also undefeated champion. That's true accomplishment right there. What Rousey has accomplished severely falls short of that type of greatness in comparison. Not only that, but Holm did it with style, class, intelligence, and integrity. I think people should look up to, admire, and revere Holly Holm as a role model, hero, and idol.

Congratulations Holly!!!! You earned it and deserve it!!!!!
