Figured I'd start up a thread considering that we should be getting tons of new fights, signings, etc in the next few weeks. Also, writing for mmasucka.com has it's perks. I got confirmation today I will receive all of Rizin's press releases, so that should be helpful!

Can't wait for this promotion to get going.

I would count Abdul-Kerim Edilov out since he signed with the UFC some time ago and already has a debut fight scheduled.

Paul Harris has been suspended for two years dating from his fight against Shields, so he's out for at least that long.

Also I doubt GEFC will let Goltsov risk his status in a non-title fight, more likely he's aiming at the UFC. But who knows.

The younger Nemkov and Sidelnikov (who surprisingly hasn't retired after all) have already been all but confirmed according to the Russians.

Go Shiozaki is heavily rumored to Sign with NJPW right now since leaving AJPW . sounds like he may do a rivalry with Nakamura. and i know hes mentioned before he really wants to work with Tanahashi again . i know he was contacted by Rizin but idk i see him going with NJPW . he's a hot free agent right now apparently even TNA is interested which god i hope doesn't happen .

Is Shawn Jordan still trying to fight on this card? Shawn Jordan vs Vitaly Minakov would be an awesome fight.

There was a writer mentioning RIZIN was in talks with Kota Ibushi but it probably doesn't matter now since he suffered a herniated cervical disc and is likely out for awhile.

Akebono's name has started to pop up. I wouldn't be surprised since he was a part of the highest rated MMA bout ever in Japan.

General Manager Nobuhiko Takada summed up the conference with him
highlighting each fight.

“It would be great to see RENA’s flying armbar. I am excited to see the heated fight between the 2 beauties. Motoya not only has the gift as a natural fighter, but he also puts in the work by training 8 hours a day. He is still 26 years old and lots of time ahead of him so I want him to lead the future of MMA. Takaya, DJ both are heavy hitters. I’m expecting a high level thrilling exchange by the two highly experienced fighters. Nagashima definitely catches the eye. I have no idea what he means by a “mysterious fight” but I’ll be looking for that answer on New Year’s Eve. As far as Andy, he’s going to bring world class striking for sure, but I’m also interested in seeing his ground”.

Dynamite 2002 was a big dud(fight-wise) except for the Sapp-Big Nog fight. Hope it not turn out that way.
