Joe Rogan thinks its possible the UFC will add more weight classes. I´m interested to know what do you guys think about it, is it possible? what  divisions would you add?

Personally I think 195 division could be usefull and I would get rid of 170 and make a 165 and a 175 divisions, because its crazy that Lombard and Sanchez are in the same division, or Woodley and Nate Diaz. I think that with the IV Ban these two divisions could be better and fairer for fighters, and we would get to watch more competitive fights.

what do you think?

You understand brain damage is this huge social issue right? You understand Keith Jardine went bankrupt trying to start some family yoga studio and has been financially struggling for years? And Chuck Liddell has been knocked out like a Dozen times, is in his 40s and slurs words.

So that is what Jardine was up to after the UFC.

The only divisions I  wouldn't mind splitting up are 170 & 155 into 155, 165, & 175. Each of those divions are like 100 fighters deep in the UFC alone and they are the deepest weight divisions in MMA. Thos are the divisions you could separate without causing a huge thin out in talent. Adding 195 would only thin out already thin divisions. The only way I would support a 195 is if they eliminated the 205 class all together making larger LHWs to just fight at HW.

HW and LHW are ridiculously shallow so the only real changes that need to be made are like others have said splitting WW so that there are 10 lb increments BUT the most important change that needs to be made is regulation of the ridicuouls (water)weight-cutting and thus most likely adding 10 lbs. to each division

FLW - 135 thru LW 165
WW 175
new class at 185
MW 195 or if you want to start the spacing out here a nice round 200 would be ok
then 215 or 220 for LHW and no limit for HW

healthier fighters, better fights, fewer injuries and cancelled fights is better all the way around.

screw super HW. make a 235 pound division. thats halfway between LHW  and HW. tv ratings go up as the bigger fighters fight. DJ is a long time champion and has terrible ppv numbers. i like him too but the truth is the truth.

OJW has it right about lighter fighters.  Unfortunately now there are no HWY draws.  Cain was good for the Mexican crowd but he looked like hell last fight. If he beats Werdum in their next fight, then he can draw more people back.  Nothing will beat what Lesnar did, though.

I have a solution to this problem, now hear me out. No weight classes and the sport goes back to Vale Tudo rules.

That would be cool.  The UFC should have a open weigh "class"  just have a ton of superfight with the open weight chamion.

That or we give the fighters a choice of their own weapon and no time limit plus you must fight to the death. No tapping out or submitting to strikes.

No need for a SHW. No enough fighters. Only way I could see it done us if Lesnar came back and could be around 280. This would only be done to get huge PPVS again from him.

No more weight classes, please. The last thing the UFC needs is more pointless titles like boxing.

I wouldn't like many divisions like boxing, but I really think the UFC could use a couple more, but at least 1 between 155 and 170
