It won't be easy, him being sponsored by Dethrone and all.

Josh Grispi could be an interesting fight, but I think he's slightly outclassed on the feet, and doesn't have top-level wrestling to put Aldo on his back.  Maybe Chad Mendes... because of the wrestling... but he's still pretty one-dimensional in MMA.

I dunno, we might be seeing the Aldo reign for a long time.

It is true... but I've also  heard he would fight Aldo.

Tyson Griffin has the wrestling, the power, and the cardio to hang with Aldo, but I don't think his chin can take that big Jose Aldo punch or knee.

If BJ Penn dropped to 145, I'd think he coudl do it, but then can he go 5 rounds with Aldo at 145?

I would say that Mark Hominick could in a rematch.  Personally, I thought he should have squeaked out a decision victory in their first match-up.

Wow, what fight were you watching? J/K I thought Aldo dominated the first four rounds, but lost the 5th pretty lopsided. I've never seen Aldo that out of shape either. Hioki is very interesting, i haven't seen many of his fight but looking at his record he's fought some big names and beaten most handily. I don't think Sandro has quite the weapons to beat Aldo even if they didn't train together. But that Bellator BW/FW division is getting some pretty good names and fights going....

@Jaykool.. Tyson has an excellent chin! He has only been knocked out/down or even rocked one time and that was that huge right hand by Gomi.. Yeah I wouldnt say Aldo dominated first 4 rounds by any means but he definetly won the fight..

@ Thiagosilva - I never said that Tyson doesn't have a good chin, I just don't think his chin could withstand Aldo's punches or knees. I honestly believe that if anybody could dethrone Aldo, it would be Griffin though. He's got all the tools to do it. All he has to do, is stay away from Aldo's knees and leg kicks.

Hominick I think he learned alot last fight and will do much better with his 2nd chance (when he earns it, which will be soon)

I'd love to see Pitbull/Aldo. At this point in their careers I don't think Freire could win, but I think it would be an epic fight. Pitbull's boxing is very crisp, and he has nice takedowns. I think he could win a few rounds.

@Jaykool.. Ah yes you are spot on mate sorry about that!... Except I dont think the leg kicks would be much of an issue.. I think Aldo would want to be more scared of Tysons leg kicks :) Haha...
