The fighters are weighed in and we're set to go for what is likely the worse ONE FC card in the promotion's short history (besides the main event.)

The action kicks off somewhere around 6am ET.

"When a game cannot be won, change the game."

I still don't understand why Victor Cui made this card the way he did.

Probably because it's what will draw viewers there. Most of the guys are big on the Lethwei scene which is more or less the Burmese version of Muay Thai, much more popular than MMA there, you can find fights for most of the guys on Youtube. They are probably a bigger draw there than the main event. I actually enjoy cards like this, reminds me of what Legend FC was doing (though they usually used guys with MMA records) in going into areas with little MMA infrastructure and giving their fighters a stage to showcase themselves. They even realize that 1 night tournaments are a quick way to build recognition for unknown guys, something that has been lost in MMA due to increased regulation.

My main problem is that they need to do a much better job of keeping their top talent active, no reason why they can't fight at least 3 times a year if healthy and asking for fights, makes me wonder if maybe ONE is getting tight on money. They just announced the rest of their events this year though, 2 in China so I expect we see more of their top Chinese guys and events in Singapore and Philippines which are always stacked with their top fighters.

Also I'm not sure if this event is even streaming. If it's like their other new market debuts then they got a TV deal that won't allow them to stream live and will instead make the event available on their site later.

Looks like there's no stream for this event. @ONE's facebook page they promised to show at least main event fight after the event has finished. This they posted 2 hours ago: "Note: The ONE Bantamweight World Championship title bout will be available on ONE Championship's Facebook page later tonight. Stay tuned for updates."

Well according to the Sherdog headline, Bibiano won by KO

Bibi full fight:

I noticed he got away with some pretty blatant glove grabbing in the 1st round while he was defending against a leg lock.

I noticed Yuji stopped screaming "action" every 4 seconds. Nice KO though.
