It's been awhile since we've seen Rashad in there, but I think he's a bit quicker on the draw than Bader. He'll be faster on his shots and he mixes up his strikes well with his takedowns. Plus he's best buds with Tyron Spong and with that kind of help in the striking dept, it can only help your chances.

Tough choice due to the big layoff.

People wanna doubt Bader but he doesn't have a year's worth of ring rust and stylistically these two fighters are very similar with their fight styles. Evans hasn't had a challenging opponent in 3 years. He has beaten a near to retiring Chael Sonnen, A should have been retired Dan Henderson. I am gonna go with my local talent and say Bader takes the decision.

This fight should have happened a few years back but still good that we get to see it.

I like Rashad a lot more since he smashed Chael, love watching him lose and I'm glad this is happening now because Bader has improved lately and this is a winnable fight for him, but I wish Rashad was still in his prime and was more active so this fight had a lot more excitement to it.

This could very well be a #1 contender match I guess, but I just have a bad feeling this is going to be an uneventful fight and nobody really moves up the ladder, mostly because of Shad's layoff and both of their styles of leaning towards a cautious fight lately.

**** 2 years ago this was a no brainer, now I'm really considering picking Bader here.

You should.

There are just too many question marks around Rashad, a lot of unknown variables. With Bader, you know what to expect; he's been consistent, he seems to be fighting smarter now and he's still a stud physically.

I haven't liked Rashad since the diet nog stinker. There's nothing I've seen of him since that makes me think he's still a contender or that he's at least a close version of what he once was. The almost 2-year long layoff and injuries and knee surgery won't help his case either.

I put a few units on Bader at +180 and I'm pretty confident in my pick.
