I agree, he allowing himself to get to technical at boxing. When he needs to embrace the chaos more, because within the chaos Joe can upset anyone on any given night, but there are a **** load of fighters who would box and strike him up.
 

However in terms of stylistic match ups, this is horrible for Gomi at this point in his career. He 36 and still has power, but he fighting one of the few guys that has legit KO power and who also going to have a massive speed advantage as well as being extremely strong for there size. If this was prime Gomi  it be another story, but current Gomi I think gets finished. Even getting into a fire fight with Joe would not be a good idea for Gomi. Honestly think Gomi needs to make this technical boxing match if he hopes to win.

I've got Lauzon with a submission by Round 2. When Gomi faces good submission artists (Diaz,Diaz, Florian, Penn), that seems to be his downfall. Lauzon is scrappy enough as it is, but when it comes to the ground, he has more than enough to handle Gomi.
