The Ultimate Fighting Championship has inked undefeated Danish welterweight Nicolas Dalby, Sherdog.com has learned.

“It feels amazing to say the least. I’ve been ecstatic since I got the news a couple of days ago,” Dalby told Sherdog.com contributor and MMAVIking.com founder Ryan O'Leary. “It’s been so difficult to not just say it out loud.”

The 30-year-old Dalby (13-0) has finished seven of his opponents.

“I’ve been waiting for this chance for years,” said the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship veteran. “So now it’s time to prove not only that I belong in the UFC but also that I can become a contender and maybe champ someday.”

Thoughts on the signing?  Also, what do you guys think about what this signing does for the future of Cage Warriors, which hasn't put on an event since November 2014?
