I want to be honest, in my humble opinion "on the card" Bethe is the less dangerous fighter Rousey has ever fought in the UFC, so far, since Liz Carmouche. I really would like to see some competition, but Ronda is simply too good for anyone at the moment.

This is a monumentally bad idea. I doubt pissing off Ronda will help.

Some gems from Bethe:

"I have more Octagon time, I have thrown more punches and fought more rounds than her in the UFC. I have more experience than her. She should shut her mouth and respect me. Ronda hasn’t proved to be a MMA fighter. I am a real MMA fighter."

"Go back home, do your little movies. I’ll do her a favor and knock her out fast."

Why is pissing a fighter off a bad idea, when history mostly shows and logic seems to state that it's actually a good idea?

You really think fighters reach a different level as they become even more enraged? If so they'd take precautions to make sure they are as angry as possible before every fight, regardless of who they fight because the trite ******** of "ohhhh, I'm better, her **** smells like spoiled eggplants, I'll knock her out" doesn't ******* matter. The millions of dollars, potential sponsors (lol or not), The passion and desire for Victory, dreams coming true, publicity, physical health and so on....is what matters.

We aren't at a bar where you tell your friend flipping off a biker is a bad idea, you don't want to make him mad....they're going to fight anyways and regardless of what's said, they're still only going to fight in mma.

I got off subject but Damn.

Because some fighters do worse when fighting emotionally and some do better.  Rousey does not seem like the first type.

Theres nothing wrong with her trying to build up a fight that isn't very competitive on paper.

They've gone 4/4 for fights that I have absolutely no interest in seeing.

Rousey/Correia - Woot, might last a full 30 seconds....maybe
Shogun/Li'l Nog - Who gives a ****, both guys are older than dirt
Struve/Big Nog - One guy who gets KTFO'd way too easily vs. a guy that is older than most antiques, woo hoo
Bigfoot/Palelei - A fighter that looks increasingly ****** due to lack of roids against a fighter that is just plain ******, but has looked decent because he's fought absolutely atrocious opposition

Ronda will most likely win but upsets happen so it is not out of the realm of possibility.

That's what you get when there's a PPV in Brazil it seems like. Lump a bunch of older legends like Shogun and the Nog bros on the card and then fill in the rest with the Bigfoots of the world.

I see someone in the brazillian crowd blinding rousey (one of those laser lights) for a few seconds and Corriea knocking her down. It's happened before. not saying she will win but something will happen.

Thing is, even if someone in the crowd did manage to shine a laser pointer directly into her retina she'd just armbar the laser and then kill Bethe and the crowd. Something's going to happen and it's going to be the unfortunate demise of Bethe for pissing off the baddest ***** alive.

I think Bethe is going to win via TKO by an alien abduction of Ronda Rousey.
