Is it finally time to admit Fedor was grossly overrated?

Not that he wasn't good for his time, not that he didn't accomplish a lot. But the fact is there were ZERO good HW's when he was dominating Pride. And this entire fandom talked about him like he was a god. It was laughable to even suggest he could lose. And this is what I'm referring too.
Can the old time Pride boys, finally, just come to this thread, lower their head, and admit that Fedor perhaps WASN'T that good??????
I mean jesus how much more ******* proof do you need?

Whoa now! You just brought my own personal GOAT of all time HMC into the discussion as if he was nothing, just something to be thrown aside. We demand an apology!

Wow this thread reached Sherdog/UG levels of flaming, hating, and fanboyism.

Werdum is gonna get so ****** up it's actually concerning me. I'm concerned for his well being. Mark Hunt was just chilling out in his guard giving no ****s for pretty much the entire first round of their fight. Cain's seriously gonna **** him up badly.

Itzz Amii is no 16 year old girl. It's someone we have seen before and this freakout in this thread pretty much confirms it. They're gone.

As for the broader thread subject...
It's a good topic. And Messiah has that unique ability to say things in a way that get all sides fired up.
My opinion:
- Fedor was awesome, obviously was the best of his time
- Fedor fought a lot of weak opponents, but so did everyone at that time
- Fedor also fought a lot of the best opponents of that time, and he beat them all
- Fedor began to fall apart physically at a relatively early age. Everyone is different.
- It's now 10 years later, MMA has evolved and fighters have evolved
- It doesn't change what happened at the time, and the context under which it took place.

its a pretty good thread for someone who waits on table's in Indianapolis. Someone on here once told me they called his restaurant up and even the people he worked with said he was a creep. there is always that chance Va. Tech might find his football abilities too great and offer him a scholarship. But, alas he is writing a book that has taken 2 years so far. Avatar by James Cameron only took 16 months. peace.
