Well, I guess it's good the NAC has stepped up testing. Good in the long-run anyway. 

Lombard certainly failed the eye test for years, but now we have confirmation.

@p4pgoat  I'm not saying that it isn't possible to make suspensions for PED's more harsh to try and clean up the sport, and that it shouldn't be seriously considered.  It should be absolutely considered, in order to help keep the sport alive.  However, considering the fact that the fighter who was once labeled as the GOAT in Anderson Silva tested positive two PED's in a pre-fight drug test further shows how flawed the testing is.  Anderson Silva was one of the last fighters that anyone the MMA community would have ever expected to test positive for any type of PED, because of how vocal he was against PED's and his prior history of testing clean; and yet he tested positive in the lead up to his fight against Nick Diaz.  So how do we know that someone like Cain Velasquez, Daniel Cormier, Chris Weidman, or Conor McGregor isn't doing the same things that Anderson Silva did in order to avoid testing positive?

If the UFC is serious about cleaning up the sport, they need to do much more than increase suspensions.  They need to completely overhaul their drug testing system, which I doubt they will do.
