So, can we just give GSP the GOAT moniker now? I mean, come on now. 

Oh, and Diaz failed a post-fight test for weed, which is irrelevant. 

That´s the million dollar question isn´t it? His normal-looking physique throughout his career, and the extenuating circumstances of his leg break i.e. what it would take to recover from it, lead me to believe that it was only for this fight.

well, I agree with slamdistraction.

He may have been doing it in his Pride days but we will never know. It was not illegal in Pride.

My question to the thread or anyone who can answer is how long has Joe Rogan known about this video in which you can see HGH needles in Anderson Silva shelf?  Also which access video is Rogan talking about? I have done a little research, but have not been able to figure out either.

Could be for insulin if he has any diabetics living with him.  The box is simply for sterile needles, but the implication is there.

I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation concerning why he has ultra fine, medical injection needles.

Why would he know?  I'm sure he has better things to do than read about rumors on MMA forums.

Maybe he's diabetic...maybe one of his kids is diabetic maybe his wife/gf is(don't know his relationship status) or maybe he was just using insulin as an anabolic like other athletes have 

@buffalo I'm sure they weren't his. He was just holding onto them for a friend.....

Silva put this statement on his instagram:

This is the worst part of the whole situation. I guess he thinks his fans are stupid.

Time to bump this I guess, weird **** emerging.

This article on MMAMania.com says that Anderson peed twice with two minutes between them, each sample sent to a different lab, one says he pissed hot (the one that was sent to NSAC) while the other doesn't.

Why has this fact, that NSAC knew about(!!!) never been released to the public? Nobody asked. Nobody. *******. Asked.

First of all, let's give credit where credit due, Anderson pissing a testable amount twice in two minutes is pretty rad. He's GOAT pisser too.

Secondly, very interested to see what's really going on here and what happens to Anderson. Not really sure what this means yet or if it even means anything to be honest. I feel like the article's missing so much information this could actually mean nothing except a last hail mary by Anderson trying to save himself.

And last but not least, whether this thing has merit or if it's just another tiny piece of info that was blown up in the super-professional MMA media before being totally understood what exactly it means, the fact remains that the last thing that MMA needs now that punishments have been ramped up to career-ending levels is any kind of testing controversy or any doubt in the validity of the testing procedures.

The silver lining is that these are different bodies that are doing the testing for the UFC now and are supposedly less incompitent than NSAC (are they though? The Jose Aldo thing might suggest otherwise).

I don't know what to say, I do think however that if you're going to crack down on abusers you better make damn sure your testing methods and procedures are ironclad and if not, hold your horses with the 3 year bans.

The fact is, that this is science. If you're spending enough money and following the procedure to the T, there should be zero mistakes. The guys that are getting a lot of money to do this **** need to understand the consequences of their actions. People's lives, careers, sometimes their only way to get out of crime-infested surroundings and normalize life for the rest of their bloodline. So dot your I's and cross your T's, double-check everything and if you ****** up, don't try to dust it under the carpet. Come out and say "we ****** up", "it's inconclusive" or "we're not sure in this case" and worse case scenario is another PED abuser flies under the radar, nothing we haven't see before (*cough* Vitor *cough*). Missing one that did isn't as bad as punishing one that didn't.
