Jon Jones's T/E Ratios

Thought people might be interested in discussing the (in my opinion) more important issue than the current cocaine mania that's conveniently masking anything else we may have discovered in these random tests. 

Some digging on r/mma churned up a treasure trove of implications. Posted some important info to mull over.

Does Nevada comm/ @ufc have the balls to do CIR testing on all 3 urine samples collected from Jon Jones? IMO. All 3 results are SUSPICIOUS

This isn't at all a scientific assumptuon, but it might help put things in perspective: average Joe has a ratio of 1:1 with T levels of 600 ng/dL in their blood. A 0.29:1.00 T:E ratio (71% decrease in T from a 1:1 ratio; for reference the removal of your testicles would result in a 90% decrease) would indicate a T level of 174 ng/DL. Below 300 is considered low.

Now, if JBJ had higher levels of T, he could drop off and still be above that 300 marker but such a decrease in T (or something more incriminating: an increase in E) is dramatic.

I wouldn't bet my medical license on it since he is not my patient and I didn't examine him, but his T:E ratio isn't what I would expect from a young male in his physical prime. There are a lot of zebras out there that can cause this, but I think we should stick to the horse we all know. I agree with you OP, and I can't wait to see what his ratio is once his post fight tests come back.

What's really sad is there are going to be people out there from now on claiming Jon Jones is a juice head for the rest of his career because somebody jumped the gun without all the information and made a big deal out of something that shouldn't have been a big deal. They will claim the low T/E ratio and a giant government/UFC cover-up before ever admitting they were wrong. It's part of the reason I don't go on sherdog anymore, that massive negative attitude and group think mentality was really hurting my enjoyment of the sport. So much wrong information is spread like the plague on Sherdog and the Underground.

That's the beautiful thing about facts.  He now has an indisputable test that proves he was not using steroids in December, even if preliminary less-conclusive tests raised suspicions. A vigorous testing regime cuts both ways; it catches the cheaters, and exonerates those who aren't using PEDs.

I haven't seen a single media article saying that jones is Juicing, I don't think anybody jumped anything, most of us are just saying that those numbers look suspicious and we would say the same about any fighter.

But seen more than a few of those same professionals questioning the NAC's handling of this whole thing... Anyways. 

This is funny ... look how Dana's all "YEAH, **** YEAH, KILL HIM" when it's not his top moneymaker ... the contrast is beautiful to watch :)

I wonder if their is a correlation to extreme dieting and maximum exercising that relates to lowered testosterone levels due to the body being under extreme stress?

I had completely forgot about this tests results, makes me wonder since when was Jones juicing?  is this just a coincidence? but giving Jones's history of bad decisions and not giving a **** about other people, I'm  thinking it's not a coincidence.

Yea, I believe he been doing it for awhile now. I believe he with out a doubt was doing it prior to the first DC fight.  I tried to find his post fight T/E levels for that first DC fight, but could not find them anywhere. Wanted to see if they came back normal, since that be pretty good evidence that he was on the juice. Though now, it does not matter since he was caught red handed.
