I'm just trying to convince myself that Rumble can win, because I have no idea what can stop Jones.

heh, fair enough.  Gus could possibly win in a Jones rematch, but I think Jones will win the 2nd fight more convincingly than the first.  and then there's Cain up at heavyweight.

I'm hoping Gus can pull it off. Anyway, as difficult as it is to admit it, I think we should all have Jon Jones as GOAT by now...

EDIT: My pick will still be Jones. Too good.

Yeah, I have no idea who Shawn Oakman is, but he'd more than likely get paralyzed by Jon Jones.

Tim Sylvia has a chance, to be honest. It is a long shot, but if somehow he gets a takedown Jones is toast.

Wow, Dana White just said that the PPV numbers blew his projection of 750,000 buys out of the water, insinuated that they hit a million buys plus. If that's true, that's huge.

Check twitter for the recent memes. He's basically the new "Chuck Norris" joke.

Shawn Oakman would take Jones down and draw tits on his back.

I mean, I don't  think Oakman would WANT to kill Jones...but accidents happen during tit-drawing back incidents.

Man, media ask the stupidest questions sometimes ... some dude said to Cormier that some of the media had the fight closer than 49-46, as in 48-47 and asked him if he thought so too ... basically you're wasting your only question to the loser of the most anticipated fight of the year with arguably the most at stake if he thinks he lost decisively or just lost. Good job bozo.

@jitz I met Jones in 2011 too. We must have had completely different experiences. He was very personable and took pictures with every fan that asked for one and signed everything that was put in front of him. We were outside waiting in line and he was the first guy that pulled up. He had security escort fans individually over to take pics and talk before he ever got in the building. Very cool. Rampage didn't give 2 ****s about anyone and ran off as soon as he could after the presser was over.

I met Jones at UFC on Fox 2 in Chicago, and out of the 35+ fighters/names I ran into that night, Jones was the only one who blew past everybody and refused to take a single picture.

Not the only reason, but you don't get anymore ****** than Jon Jones.

If you watch the post-fight presser, Jones waits until DC starts crying, then unzips his hoodie revealing his "unbroken" t-shirt.

Yes, Cormier showed in the post fight event that he is a humble and decent guy. Jones still seemed ****y and only pretending to be humble.
