How do you think this will cement their place in MMA history? Obviously it could fizzle out and they will just look like greedy sleeze-balls for those people who aren't quite UFC fans yet who look back and see this case.

Or...

They could look like founding fathers who did something to shape the sport if they win.

How do you think it will play out and how exactly do you view these guys now?

This will be stuck in court for years and everyone will forget about it.It'll eventually get settled,a bunch of people get a measly 5 grand and it changes nothing, that's my opinion. It'll all be forgotten soon, forget 20 years.

None have the legendary status to be common names in a few decades.  No current champs do either.  It's highly probable the only fighter this decade who we'll all even remember in 20 years, and only because of his legendary skill-set will be "The Michael Jordan of BJJ, Travis Lutter".

Does anyone remember a single fight of Nate Quarry's besides him becoming the anchor of Rich Franklin's highlight reel and that bum Khalib Starnes running away from him? The one is remembered more for Franklin flooring him and the latter is remembered more because Starnes refused to fight not because Nate Quarry did anything!

Fitch: That boring wrestler guy that everyone freaked out over the UFC cutting only for him to lose to Josh Burkman via DDT/Guillotine

Cung Le: That Chinese movie star guy that got the steroids beaten out of him by Michael Bisping

Nate Quarry: That guy who got injured on TUF but was a good coach, a decent fighter, and then an analyst.

To sum up how I'll look at all three of them in 20 years in a word...Meh.

@Lopati Ironically Nate Quarry vs. Tim Credeur was my first fight (Diaz/Guillard fight night) I watched when I started following MMA consistently. I remember it like it was yesterday..

Funny Tim Credeur got mentioned just now. I'm watching TUF 7 and he and Matt Riddle are about to fight on the episode I'm on.

Fitch for not being able to finish anyone in a span of six years. I watched his fights to see if he would finish a fight.
