Bellator has apparently cut Frodo.

If it wasn't because of visa issues, then this is a horrible cut by Bellator and I could definitely see him being UFC bound.

It was due to the Visa issues.

He was granted his release, not cut. Bellator would be a bunch of silly ******* to do that.

Hopefully to the UFC after his visa issues are taken care of.

Frodo at 135 could be a contender, I truly believe.

If these Visa issues only prevent him from fighting in the US. The UFC could sign him for international shows. He wouldn't be the first guy on the roster with similar issues.

Cant stand the guy personally. Professionally I don't think he is all that. He was not able to get to the top in Bellator, what makes anyone think that he could do anything in the UFC?

He couldn't make it to the top because of visa issues, he was 5-0 in Bellator beating Sandro and Richman. Not sure what could make someone not be able to stand him, I don't think I have ever heard him speak and he's an entertaining fighter.

He won the Bellator season tournament so he definitely is deserving to be in the UFC.

Should have done my research before posting. ^ previous post invalid. But the opinion remains the same.

From http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2014/11/26/7297235/frodo-khasbulaev-bellator-release-scott-coker-mma-news

"Khasbulaev accused Bellator of revoking his visa application, which ex-Bellator matchmaker Sam Caplan denied during his Twitter responses to him and later on his podcast. The issue of his release request dates back a few months ago to August, which Caplan said was derailed by his manager. Fast forward to late November and clearly problems still persist between the two parties, but Khasbulaev hasn't been let go."

I dont care for the way that I perceived him to be handling the situation. I doubt that Bellator fudged him visa wise just to make sure he couldn't fight for them again, and then waited this long to release him. Thats why I dont care for him. Its possible that there is more to the story, but from where im sitting- I didnt care for what I saw.
