The fighters are weighed in and everyone (thank god) is set for Saturday night.

Med suspensions are common when there's any kind of concern about a potential injury. Many of those suspensions are lifted once the fighter in question gets checked out and medically cleared to train.

I don't recall any medical suspension, that wasn't as obvious a injury as Browne, Condit, etc. not getting cleared quickly.

@
Cthulhu, dude, don't be a noob, you know immediate suspensions are "placeholders". They're serve as "if you don't go checked out it's 6 months because you got hit once in the head once" kind of thing.
After evaluation suspensions change.

Does Schaub even hear the words that come out of his mouth??? Basically what he's saying is "let me lay here for another 15 seconds so that I can bank on him gassing in the next round" ... LOL! Dude is such a ******* ******!
EDIT:: BUT ... hearing him take the criticism like a man was actually very cool of him.

Jesus, he gets pretty personal there. Joe's ballsy man. Right or wrong, I'll give him that much. Talking about how he thinks Schaub has one foot out the door and such. Wow.

Yoss rocking that GOAT AV again.
Edit: I hope you guys are right about Pettis and he does get cleared to compete. Given his past though, I'm a little worried about it.

Rogan was very honest with him and he's 100% right. Schaub seems so surprised by what Joe is telling him. He's totally out of touch with reality. In a straight wrestling match against Cain people would be surprised? HAHA yeah dude you would get destroyed in any match against Cain or any other top HW.

On the other hand, as long as Schaub IS fighting, I'm happy he doesn't agree with him, at least not on the outside ... I mean, if he agreed with him, it would just be Joe persuading Schaub to retire, if Schaub isn't planning on retiring, I loved that he said "I don't agree" and started finding excuses to why he hasn't been great in the Octagon.
Sometimes delusion is such a ******* important thing for a fighter to have in his "skillset". Schaub's not retiring as of now, so yeah, at least while he is, I want him to believe he can be the champion of the world. It's a bad thing for a fighter to walk into that cage without believing he DA ****!

@Cthulu I'm sure Pettis will be fine. I remember Benson was listed as needing six months multiple times because he always reported every ache he had after a fight and one of them was specifically about his hands. It was simply bruising and he defended his title four months later. The hand thing is pretty common. If it had been for a knee or something like that, I probably would've been worried.

I hope you're right. He's one of the most entertaining and talented fighters out there and him being injured and on the shelf is annoying.
Also, I've always thought Schaub is a ******, and still do for the most part, but I gained a lot of respect for him due to the way he handled that harsh criticism. A lot of guys, especially fighters, wouldn't have handled that neaaaarly as well as he did. Props to him for that.

lol! I've been listening to the whole thing, they're basically telling Schaub to quit fighting and be a stand-up comedian.
As I said, Schaub's taking it on the chin like a DUDE! I'm starting to hate him less by the minute, this podcast isn't good for me, I don't want to like Brendan Schaub, disliking him is who I am :D

I always thought Schaub was a ****** too, and I'm also gaining respect for him. I would think most UFC fighters would freak out if you told them some of this ****.
