Bigfoot struggles with the faster Heavyweights and Mir might be the slowest on the roster

I wouldn't be surprised if Bigfoot donkey kong punched Mir.

Wasn't Mir also on TRT for a little while there?

Both have looked like garbage since coming off TRT. Mir has lost four straight and hasn't won since 2011, and this fight will be contested in 2015. He's the new Tito in the UFC. Bigfoot looked slow and like a flat footed punching bag against Arlovski.

I really wish this was Barnett vs. Bigfoot.

Mir never really looked good on the TRT.

Nelson,Big Nog and JDS was the period he was on TRT IIRC.

What kept Bigfoot standing against Hunt? The same as Overeem vs. Mir. The amount of times Mir has been finished by strikes, I just can't understand how Overeem couldn't finish him.

Every punch is different. based purely on history, Arlovski should not have been able to survive the uppercut that Schaub nailed him with or the overhand Rumble dropped him with.

Hunt also took a lot longer to finish Struve, compared to the other punchers in the division.

Overeem probably would have finished Mir if he didn't fight at a measured pace, and despite the reputation of Mir's chin, he has never been one shot KO'd. it's always a barrage of strikes that stop him.

@Franklin

I think Bigfoot's been a massive disappointment because I personally think, despite being a big name guy that probably makes really good money, he really should only be 1-5 in the UFC, rather than 2-3-1.  If Browne doesn't **** his knee up, I don't see him losing that fight.  In the Hunt fight, he was juiced up and I have a hard time believing him being on PEDs didn't help him out.  Even with the Overeem fight, he won in large part due to Overeem gassing.   He simply hasn't looked near as impressive as he should, being the big name fighter he is.

Yes, to his credit, he has only fought top level guys and was ranked in the top 5 for a while.  However, with that high of a ranking (and the salary I would imagine he makes), I guess I expect his high point in the UFC to not be a Fight of the Night performance that was aided largely be PEDs, or a comeback victory over a notorious gasser that kicked your ass for 2 rounds.

As for my comment on this likely being either's last UFC victory, that probably came off harsher than I meant.  I'm sure either could be competitive if they didn't only fight Top 10 guys.  However, at this point of their careers, they are probably only getting (and asking) for big name fights.  They're not likely getting fights against Ruan Potts or Walt Harris anytime soon, (though I'm sure they would win those fights).

Mir probably spent all his TRT energy when he judo threw Nelson.

Mir is slow, but pretty strong. Silva is very strong, but very slow. Going with the less slow guy.

Five losses in a row would be terrible for Mir. Has anyone had that and still stayed in the UFC afterwards?

Steve Cantwell had 5 losses in a row, but then got cut.

Other than that, I can only think of Dan Hardy and Yoshihiro Akiyama who have lost 4 in a row (without going elsewhere in between loses) who have stayed.

Charlie Brenneman has five UFC losses in a row, although he fought elsewhere between losses 2 and 3. As far as I know, he's still on the roster.  It's been less than a month since his last loss, so maybe they just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's hard to see Mir doing anything anymore except retiring.

Pe de Pano beat Mir on his first fight back from his femur injury. Mir had cone back too soon at that point.
