This could go one of two ways. I predict the latter of the two.

Mir's getting awfully old these days. I'll probably pick him based on my general like of Mir, but I won't be the least bit surprised if Bigfoot knocks him out.

This is kind of a sad fight but I'm still rooting for Silva. If Mir couldn't even pull anything out on Overeem, I really don't see him finishing Silva.

I think this is Mir's fight to lose. He just has to watch out for Silva when he enters berserk mode. I hope Silva knocks him out.

Bigfoot's fight to lose. Mir's MMA ground game is overrated as hell, he doesn't threaten with sweeps and tends to get controlled. He IS a submission master but he won't be pulling a sub with Bigfoot smashing his face into the canvas. In my opinion Mir either knocks Bigfoot out or loses.

EDIT: Unless Mir maintains top position for 100% of the fight, of course.

Assuming Bigfoot get him to the ground and that not very likely. Bigfoot take downs are not very good. Mir take down defence has gotten much better over the years. I doubt Bigfoot can take Mir down at all. Mir also hit as hard, and is faster then Bigfoot. Neither man seems to have the chin they once did either. Mir in my opinion should out strike Bigfoot, he more versatile striker and faster. He also hits as hard as Bigfoot.

@Franklin880088 In my opinion Mir is 10x more talented than Bigfoot, but I also think his gameplans are 10x worse. He also can't adapt mid-fight for his life.

Definitely an fight more about the big names than any title picture.  Mir is so far past his prime, I can't see a victory here, yet Bigfoot's UFC run has been a disappointment to say the least (Browne and Overeem upset wins not withstanding).  While it's gonna be depressing for whoever loses, the winner can at least enjoy one more moment in the sun, (and for both, that's probably what it'll be, a last UFC victory).

@Stickman

How has Bigfoot run been disapointing? He got beat by Cain twice who run through every one. He had epic fight with Hunt who top 5 in the division. Hell Bigfopot was top 5 in the division for awhile. He got a title shot to boot. I am little confused on what you thought he should have accomplished.

Also there last UFC victory? This might be true, given Mir losing streak, but that not to say him and bigfoot can't beat people in the ufc heavy weight division, because they can. I think you are only looking at this from top 10 stand point, you forget there another 10 through 30 as well. Yes maybe there time at the top has ended, but you are acting like they lose to random bums, when they beat the majority of the UFC heavy weight division still.
