I don't think losing to Dennis Siver makes him a bigger star....

Kind of odd that it is so late on a Sunday despite being in the USA.

I think it's because the venue was already booked for a basketball or hockey game on Saturday.

Siver looked terrified right before the Rosa fight. I think that's just his face.

Im one of those people on the edge of my seat waiting for someone to add some shiny humility to Conors self made crown.   Doubtful it will be Siver but never underestimate a German/Russian.   Tough as ****.   Hes just 3 moves too slow for Conor though.   Cant wait,  wish it was tonight :p

I see Conor McGregor as a future champ,  i just feel he would be a better champion for that belt with some humility and respect.   I see him probably the first one to hold 2 belts simultaneously in the UFC.

I like McGregor, but I'm not 100% sold on him being the champ, until I see him overcome some sort of adversity. I want to see how he handles himself after getting rocked or against an experienced wrestler or a back and forth bloody fight or even a loss. Some people come back better from those scenarios, others can't seem to get back into their groove. This is a situation I feel that every great champion needs to find themselves in.

@Stay ready

I don't think Siver is scared at all. Personally don't think the mind games are working with him in the slightest and I don't think he intimidated. However, I still think he going to lose, I don't agree that he has any fear of Mcgregor.

Damn, Conor almost doesn't look like himself here. This might have been his worst weight cut yet.

Siver definitely handled the weigh-in staredown a lot better.

If McGregor is the most famous person in Ireland now then they need to find new heroes.

That interview is disgusting, how dare they put a fighter through that? He's out of breath talking, by God.

@Anik, I agree 100%. Fights and fighters have been a secondary resource for a while now. It's all about the UFC brand and global takeover these days. Fight week? Weight cutting? Who cares, let's send them on endless press obligations and open workouts just for the ****s. If it makes a few of them endanger their careers and livelihood by underperforming, they can always cut them and build new ones up.

And the you wonder why the UFC has trouble building "names". If the "names" don't drop in their lap they have no idea how to create a star and the main reason for that is the fact that fighters are no longer people to them, they're a product. And not even the primary product.
