@yossgold The reason why speed doesn't work effectively is because of Chris Weidman's ridiculous footwork. I honestly don't know if The Chris is human or not, I've never seen anything quite like him before. He's the Hybrid if I ever saw one.

I mean, his only weakness is his cardio and the reason for that is because his pace is so furious and he's too ******* strong to NOT run out of gas. The Chris is the real deal, and it's scary. We're talking potential two-division champion, and he's got a better shot at it than anyone not named Jose Aldo. Even then, they shouldn't be compared because the LW division is only 10 pounds above the FW division.

Yeah, I guess ... it's pretty amazing ... also, his cardio "problem" may have been on account of a bad camp too and if while he's gassing he can take Machida's best barrages (and Machida can KTFO dudes), still be dangerous himself and not get a weakened chin I don't think it's really a problem.

I agree with you guys. I was really of the belief that Machida could utilize speed and footwork to outstrike The Chris, boy was I wrong. Weidman is not only tough, he's got super high fight IQ which is crazy important. He'll be able to outwrestle anybody in the division, and just proved he can strike with anybody. There is no way Vitor would be able to stop takedowns the way Machida did.

I mean I think you just said it multiple times it's simple get a guy who can stuff the takedown and push the pace o that sound like good old Luke Rockhold to me What Chris has is not  unbelievable footwork what he does have is really good timing and range If Vitor can stop the takedown which we saw what happend to the last guy who tried to take him down Dan Henderson got punched into mid air so chris has some really hard fights out there waiting I think one if not both of these guys will beat chris it also doesn't help he fights ever 6-7 months that's a lot of time in between fights to improve all those ungodly good skills ha and just to throw this out there to get your panties in a bunch @Anik  Mike Bisping has a bad Style for weak cardio wrestling based Weidman and mikes down at Regin Traning Center with Munoz now so you can expect his wrestling to get better and better

I had a lot of difficulty reading that hunk of **** that bispingthebest just posted so I'll only try to reply to what I did understand.

According to genius over here, the only way you could beat Chris Weidman is if you have a guy who can stuff takedowns and push the pace...what in the actual **** is wrong with you? Did you not see the event that this thread is about? HELLOOOO, HOW ABOUT LYOTO ******* MACHIDA. Machida's a better wrestler and a better striker than Luke Rockhold and did you not see how that worked out?

If you don't think Chris Weidman has amazing footwork, there is nothing more to be said. You don't know enough about combat sports to talk to me and frankly, the fact that I've addressed two posts to you is extremely generous on my part. Chris Weidman is an excellent distance manager, but HELLO IT'S 'CAUSE OF HIS FOOTWORK YOU ******* IDIOT. What, did he cut off Lyoto because Lyoto went full ****** in the fight? Are you full ******?

Comparing Dan Henderson's takedowns to Chris Weidman's is like comparing your IQ to mine, the disparity is ridiculous. Vitor Belfort stopping a Dan Henderson double leg proves absolutely nothing, I bet BJ Penn from Sunday could have stopped it as well.

As for the Bisping comment in the end, it is just further confirmation that you are an idiot. So apparently, Bisping's wrestling is going to get a lot better because he's training with Mark Munoz.

Mark Munoz.

Oh, you mean the guy who Chris Weidman destroyed and decimate, to the point where he had to take an entire year off? Chris Weidman beat Mark Munoz into obesity, and Bisping training with that guy is supposed to make him good enough to beat Weidman?

You are a dumbass. This is the last time I will address you in this thread because I'm afraid that I might actually lose IQ points if I continue debating with someone as dumb as you. Smashing my head into a wall would be more productive.

Right lyoto push the pace in fights wow he didn't do **** till the fourth and you have lost your mind if you think lyoto has better wrestling then Luke Rockhold your an idiot and who the **** are you god I should be happy you respond to my post I could give a **** less and Bisping training with Munoz wouldn't make his wrestling better really because Mark Munoz is a NCAA D1 All American and D1 Champion out of the very Famous Oklahoma State you **** yeah training with Munoz might help Bisping wrestling a just a little. And Lyoto push the pace right
That's why he's been criticized his whole career for being lackluster and Luke Rockhold is a pretty accomplished grappler as well and Mark Munoz was so out of shape in the Weidman fight it wasn't funny! You all can go **** yourselfs

Lyoto Machida is probably one of the best MMA wrestlers, his take down defense and base are amazing. He most definitely has better wrestling than Luke Rockhold.

I dedicate that post to Bill Burgess. Without him, I don't have the motivation to make huge responses like that last one but I had one final one in me.
