1. With all due respect to the main event, if anyone has any doubts as to who's the real star in this event he should get himself checked. Ronda is selling the **** out of it and working her butt off to do so. Not her biggest fan, but she has my utmost appreciation as to how professional she is both as a fighter and as a prize-fighter and promotion's superstar.
2. Machida is frickin' awesome! He's been peeling of a few layers lately and as much as I loved him before, it's grown tenfold.
3. I'm starting to get the feeling that the more comfortable he gets, Weidman's inner ****** is going to surface. Not 100% sure, maybe it's just him trying to look über-comfortable for the "Embedded" cameras or if it's just him being him, but he's starting to rub me the wrong way. Or maybe it's just me, subconsciously needing to have a "bad guy" in fights I'm emotionally invested in, I don't know, just getting a weird stuck-up, entourage-bashing feel about him (I've never really been drawn to him, could be I sensed it, could be I'm talking out of my ass) ...

Went with Machida because I could see this being a challenging stylistic matchup for Weidman. Machida looked great against Mousasi and if Weidman can't get this to the ground it could be a real challenge for him. That said, I wouldn't at all be surprised if Weidman rises to the occasion and continues to show he's reaching elite P4P status.

@yoss: As to point #3, I kind of get what you're saying, but rather than read his growing comfort in the limelight as a revelation of ******yness, I'm just reading it as an emergence of his inner bro. He seems like a genuinely good guy to me, but not one that I'd necessarily enjoy hanging around for an extended period. That said, I try to check my self on judging fighter personalities too much, since I know there's always a difference between the person and the face. (Unless you're Vitor. **** Vitor.)

This is gonna be a rough card. So many fights that were hard to predict.
I have two new champions being crowned tonight. Alexis Davis is very underrated, and I believe that if she brings the fight to Ronda, she will pull it off.
Another title fight for Machida. He's 2-2 in them. Time to settle the score! I believe he is elusive and fast enough to counter. I had a dream last night that Lyoto knocked him out in the second round with a body kick. Doubt it happens, but that would be SICK of it does!
