I went back all the way to the 20th page and didn't see anyone who started a thread about movies. If there is one, just let this thread sink away into the abyss of thread history, but if not, this is something we can talk about. We've got one for every sport, music, and TV shows. So I figured might as well.

Sooo just got done watching that Terminator Genisys movie and man was it just well played out really enjoyed how they played out the whole movie overall would definitely recommended anybody too watch it dope af movie rated it OVER 9000 BABY ALL HAIL ARNOLD!!!!

(Spoiler) What I hate about Genisys is they essentially make it so John Connor was never born in 1984. So really he shouldn't even be alive to come back in time to 2014 as the T-John Connor. There are at least 5 breaks in the timeline with each time travel event and they essentially wipe T-1 and T-2 out of existence. Not to mention according to T-1 Sky Net had no knowledge of where Sarah Connor was prior to 1984 and didn't even know her exact location then leading to multiple dead Sarah Connors before finding the correct one. They write the film like Sky Net had watched the first four terminator movies. It is really some of the most incompetent writing I've seen. The CGI is hit and miss throughout the film and completely inconsistent and the ending is baffling stupid.

I'm setting my expectations very low for T5. I did that for T4 and somewhat enjoyed it. Think that's the key.

@amp It also shouldn't be referred to as T-5 either since it's clearly not a sequel but a remake of T-1 that reboots into an entirely different storyline. None of the events that take place in T-1 to T-4 are followed and they start the film on th original pre T-1 timeline. @rappinpapsoda As far as Genisys vs Salvation I will give the slight edge to Genisys but Salvation set such a low bar it isn't exactly hard to get over it. There is some fun to be found in Genisys if you completely ignore all the lazy writing and bad acting. Salvation was not only poorly written but lacked excitement and just felt dull despite having big action scenes.

Just watched "The Crow" for the first time.
Man it really is a goth kids wet dream.
I mean don't bet me wrong, it was a decent movie. But the whole looked really cheap in some instances. But it seemed really good when there was action. And I could not tell where there was CGI for the Brandon Lee posthumous parts were.

Overall I really didn't see where all the hype and cultish following was. It was just an ok movie.

@shot 2thesac "What we do in the Shadows" is a great whitty comedy. Definitely one of the best comedies I've seen in the theater this year.
