Or how about just canning the picks of the people who switched their picks after the event had started? Just a thought, since looks like I picked mostly right and somewhat perfect and that would mean that I just wasted some 20 or 30 minutes (if not more) yesterday checking on all those guys if it all just gets scrapped.

It's also kind of pointless to even put stuff like that up for picking if this keeps happening.

I always checked event posters for start times before making any picks because of these rare day cards back when I'd pick all events.  Since I haven't been picking all events, I haven't been able to catch these in advance to request lock time be moved up.  If post-first-fight picks made are easy to separate from legit picks, sounds good, legit picks like yours should count.  But I definitely recommend getting in the habit of closely viewing event posters so time isn't wasted.  I even wait until the final 24 hours if at all possible to pick so I don't spend time researching fighters who never weighed in.  I'm not a fan of time wasted on fighter research in non-counting fights, though who is?  Heh.

I guess being a FightCenter Editor (different region tho) as you are @joe kerr I could've locked it when I caught it 4 1/2 hours early and only 2 or so fights over on Twitter, but in case that wouldn't have been the right move in the eyes of Greg & Skelli, I avoid editing events I don't manage when it'd be a rare edit that I really don't know the precedent on.

I prefer not to make any edits outside my region unless it's results for a nationally recognized promotion people are waiting on in the discussion thread and no one else is inputting them.  That or any obvious spelling mistake or something like that.
