probably you have read o heard by know about the possible fight between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, I´ve always been a fan of Carano because why wouldn´t I she´s ******* good and it doesn´t hurt that she´s damn hot, and I´d love to see that fight if Gina had come back for good  and had earned a shot but I´m not very interested in them making the fight straight up without Carano having a least 2 wins, she´s been out for several years now  and in no way she deserves a title shot no matter how much Dana and Ronda think that she does, it´s ******* ridduculos, but Ronda has said it best:

I don't think it would make sense for her to come back and fight somebody else and take the risk of maybe losing and not being able to capitalize on the fight between me and her. I think it would make more sense to go straight to a title fight."

of course why would you want to risk Carano loosing a fight after 5 years of retirement and having people realize that there´s really no point in making this match.

they (the UFC) are so fixated in making the biggest possible amount of money that they don´t realize that they are diluting their product value, how much does the UFC belt is worth if you can win it staright back from a 5 year retirement? or if your champion last win was a retired fighter coming back after (again) 5 ******* years!!

same goes for any division in which they are making crazy title shots with (kind of) random fighters.

maybe they found out there´s more money in entertainment than in sports.

here´s some **** if you want to read

That's exactly it, it is all about making money. No way she deserves a title shot but it happens all the time now. Sonnen vs. Jones for the belt, Diaz vs. GSP for the belt etc. etc.

I don't really give a **** about sporting legitimacy or what ever you may call it but this seems silly. Especially if Zyngano is still willing to take her title shot.

This would be the worst title shot in the history of the UFC if this happens.

Worse than Sonnen vs Jones? lol it's pretty bad, but that Chael Sonnen one seems hard to top.

Rousey's a disrespectful brat.  If Nick Diaz can shake GSP's hand after that fight then there was no reason for Rousey to brush off Tate like that.  She's a sore loser, and worse a sore winner.  Oh and this title fight would be ********.  Cat Zigano deserves it whenever shes healed, in the meantime give the title shot to someone who actually deserves it like Alexis Davis.

I really don't care about Ronda not shaking Meisha's hand. Respect is supposed to be a mutual thing for people that deserve it. Maybe if Tate would have waited til Ronda was on her feet she would have... but it's not a big deal, ***** Meisha didn't really deserve a showing of respect any way.

It wasn't that one time, she brushed her off many times during TUF.  i really dont see how miesha was disrespectful to Rousey at all.  sure there was the Bryan Caraway thing on twitter which was completely wrong i agree, but i doubt Tate told him to do it.  MMA in the past was described as barbaric. its important and crucial to the sport that we can show the world that "yea these 2 people tried to beat the **** out of each other, but there not *******s and there really good people, and not the bloodthirsty  thugs politicians make us out to be".  MMA has widely been accepted but we don't want to take one step forward and two steps back.  idk, call me traditional but when i see Rousey do **** like that, to me, it goes against the spirit of martial arts.

Carano would get armbarred in the first round, I like her but coming off a seven year layoff to facing the #1 WBW in the UFC? Not gonna end well, she just folded another Olympian like a lawn chair. Rousey via being Ronda Rousey.

If pick Carano just for the hell of it. I mean, there's virtually NO chance she wins, but she was in Ronda's shoes before. I'm sure she'd like to get it all back

They've gotta do something to protect Ronda from the real challenges.

you lose, wait five years and then get a title shot?
this would be the fight that would do the biggest damage to my respect towards the UFC.

**** it.

Cyborg and Holm don't seem to be close to signing with the UFC.

It's been a year since Zigano beat Tate, so all the heat she got off that victory has faded since. Davis just looked "alright" in her split decisions win against Eye.

If Carano is whiling to get in there, fine, I'll watch while Zigano/Davis fight each other to determine the next challenger as well.

Carano's a pioneer and a legend of the sport and this fight will do more for the growth of WMMA than any other fight out there right now.

This fight will be for the fans and the sport you shouldn't hold it to the same standards since WMMA hasn't been solidified in mainstream yet so if you've got a chance for a spectacle fight like this you don't waste it.

I agree, in usual standards, an immediate title fight isn't "deserved", but if you take a step back and look at the whole picture, this fight would benefit any other WMMA fighter that's potentially passed over (which basically consists of injured Zingano, sort of next best thing Ali-Gator and most likely not gonna happen any time soon Cyborg - so it's not like someone's really getting ****** over if Carano gets an immediate shot).

With the exposure this fight'll get all these girls will start getting looked on way more and they'll start bringing in more sponsorship money too, especially if Gina can actually make it a fight.

Every girl out there should be wanting this fight to happen. Even the Zingano/Davis/Cyborg trio.

Some things are bigger than straight up "who's deserving". Also, please tell me Alexis Davis' record is more deserving than Gina's, 5 year layoff and all (why is everyone saying 7 years???). Davis is the next one up by default, it's not like she's beat anyone amazing. Don't get me wrong, she's definitely deserving of a shot, but I don't see too much wrong with having her wait or fight again for someone who's done way more for the sport than her.

I don't have a problem with Carano fighting for the belt. It's better than nothing. I honestly believe that unless it's Cyborg, Zingano or Davis, it would be hard to find a better fight for Ronda.

No I do not want to see Rousey vs Kaufman II or Rousey vs Carmouche II or anything like that. Let's give Jessica Andrade a title shot while we're at it. (I love Andrade, but she's nowhere near Ronda's level)

Maybe it won't be for the belt since we don't even know if Carano can make 135. She's never fought at that weight and struggled making 145.
