This is one of those fights that can go either way really. Both guys have that knock out power and the speed to get the job done. However part of me thinks that if Dong can get a Knockout on Silva then Matt Brown probably can too. Granted up until the last two fights who even knew Dong could get the knock out...

Matt Brown deserved a better fight than Silva but, that's the UFC for ya.

I think Silva is about right for Brown. I have a feeling when he finally is standing across the ring from a legit top 10 it's going to be a bad night for Brown.

Brown is on a hot streak as of late, and seemingly unstoppable. Silva has been way too hot and cold as of late. I think I'm going with Brown on this one.

Erick Silva. The moderate favorite. I give up...

Erick Silva? Seriously? IMO this guy is the most overrated gatekeeper, his biggest win yet is Charlie Brenneman! Sure he's agile and got fast hands but he's not beaten a single good name. I don't get how the UFC pairs Matt Brown up with a fighter who's biggest win to date is Charlie Brenneman..... a guy who is on a 6 fight win streak (5 of them being KO/TKO) versus a guy who is 2-2 in his last 4 fights and lost both in impressive fashion. I guess the UFC want to give Matt Brown an easy ride now. Well I don't blame them, Matt Brown deserves a title shot already.

How is Erick Silva the moderate favourite? They're not even fighting in Brazil!

Point is that Erick Silva isn't ready for the elite of the division.

Agree, Silva's had it easy so far. Matt Brown has looked too tough and too impressive to pick against without a good cause, and Silva is not that.

Yeah, looks like High is Silva's biggest win. Really failing to understand why Silva is a -225.

and i was thinking i would get a nice underdog pick, then Silva turns out to be this big a favorite.

i think Brown is overwhelmed here and that this is a perfect match to give Silva a solid win while denying Brown a title shot.

Silva is the favorite for how he performs. For instance, even in defeat he's impressive while Brown got his **** rocked by Wonderboy and Mein, also Brown is very vulnerable to submissions and is quite hittable, with a guy like Silva that makes it a coin flip no matter how favorited Brown should be. With Brown a +200 favorite I'm still  skeptical to put money on him.

Personally I would like to have seen Brown get a top 10 opponent, but I honestly don't hat this match up. It's gonna be a good competitive fight and I see someone getting finished. Hopefully that'll be Silva. If Brown wins this he definitely deserves someone ranked higher. I'd like to see him against Saffiedine or Ellenberger if he beats Lawler. And if he wins, I'd say he deserves it. How many non champs are riding a 7 fight win streak? None I can think of.

I love Matt Brown, big fan, glad this is headlining, but Erick should be the faster, stronger guy and I have to take notice of that. If Matt Brown won he's right there for a #1 contender fight though. Either way, should be awesome, almost a guaranteed finish in this one.

This may be similar to the Fitch fight. Definitely gonna be some back and forth action. Always is with Silva. Very real possibility that this goes 5. I picked Brown by knockout just because he has pretty good hands and Silva fights wildly.

And as we saw in the DHK fight, you don't exactly have to be Anderson Silva to land a clean one on Erick Silva.

I don't see how it could be similar to the Fitch fight unless Matt Brown fights safe, which I doubt.

A Brown victory is still possible, just don't see how this goes the distance or is boring.
