I'm very excited to see this fight. 2 very tough gritty talented fighters going at it. Shields will be too much for Ellenberger right now but I think Ellenberger will learn a lot from being in there with Shields and he'll be better for it in the long run. Shields 30-27 across the board.

If Ellenberger touches Shields chin once, Its lights out...That guy has Heavy Hands... If Ellenberger can keep it standing, he has a huge advantage in the striking aspect.... We will see how Shields comes off of his first loss in the UFC.

I wanna say Ellenberger is going to win, but my brain is telling me Shields is going to ride out a decision win. Who knows though, ellenberger could pull the upset and catch shields with something and get the finish.

Shields is really over-rated. He can't take advantage of good situations and he's just gonna end up getting beaten by Ellenberger for a round and a half before he gets caught by a nice hit to the jaw that either puts him out or drops him, which leads to a ref stoppage.

Shields is likely the better wrestler, but I don't see him subbing Ellenberger. If Ellenberger keeps the fight standing, it could be trouble for Shields. I got Shields by UD.

Ellenberger is so much better on the feet and he has a lot of power. I think there is a chance that he will get out wrestled, but in my opinion, more likely than not, Ellenberger will avoid the grappling and win on the feet. Shields is such a terrible striker.

I think ellenberger is a solid underdog pick and i think shields has always been a bit overrated.

I haven't made my pick yet, but I agree with @ACFMMA.  Ellenberger is a live dog here and I will more than likely be going with him probably via UD.
