Another light weekend! And another Joe Kerr theme!

Competition reigning champion @Joe Kerr decides to pay homage to "the dreaded and cruel frost sorcerer from Slavic legends who later became the gift-giver and one of New Year's symbols."

I like the big weekends but I don't have the drive to pick all those fights lol . I would do this one but the Pro/Ammy ratio is horrible this weekend.

The girl in the picture next to Ded Moroz is Snegurochka, just in case someone wants to know.

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED!!!  All it took was two solo wins out of the six cards.  Thanks for the congrats everyone.  It was a small weekend, but looking at the murderers row behind me on the leaderboard makes me feel pretty good about the win.  My only regret is that I can't share my joy with wolfie.  I guess I'll just have to go listen to some death metal to cheer me up.

Congrats, OMG! If there's anybody who I'd say actually deserved to win one for a long time and finally got it, it's you.

You could also say that "all it took was to get solo wins on 1/3 of all the cards in the competition", which is a feat that I don't think will be equalled any time soon.

Thanks @joe!  And I'm pretty sure the "King of the Wins" never pulled the 1/3 trick.

It's due to the power of Дедушка Мороз, who is one mean and powerful mofo, not to mention probably the most pimpin' of about the dozen other Christmas/New Year spirits from Eurasia.

For example I don't know if you guys know, but there are only two characters that the Russian overlord Vladimir Putin respects in the entire world. One is Fedor Emelianenko of course, the other is Ded Moroz:

Yes, that's Dedushka too. He's rocking coats in two different colour themes to wear when he feels like it. And while he might not appear as badass as his Cossack counterpart - that dude carries a sword, a dagger, sometimes a pistol and on occasion appears with a wolfskin d****d around his back and may only be addressed as "comrade General" (here visiting young Cossack warriors):

...or as majestically dressed as the Yakutian spirit, Chyskhaan (Чысхан) aka "The Bull of Winter" (another evil winter spirit, who became good after getting it on with a mortal woman):

...and here on his frozen throne:

...Ded still has more things going for him than anybody. Starting with his mode of transportation being powered by the best pure-bred Turkish stallions, his assistant being a hot snowy maiden instead of midgets with skin disease or even worse, black-faced "indentured servants" (shame on you, Sinterklaas):

...Ded Moroz also has a pretty pimped-out crib:

...employs additional assistants when the situation calls for:

...gets on with the times:

...and in general doesn't mind dealing with the unnecessary elements himself if the need arises.

And yeah, I should've posted that a lot earlier. Didn't have enough time. But I'm doing it now since I was asked "*** is Ded Moroz".
