Falling asleep anytime during the day or evening just makes me feel awful afterwards. Napping doesn't agree with me at all. Best thing for me to do is to just sleep in long Friday into Saturday and make the day as short as possible.

I'd be really annoyed with myself if I missed watching this one live though.

I'm the same way.  I tell myself I'll get 30 minutes of quick sleep.  And then I don't get up until 6 hours later.

As per usual, set alarm to 2am, watch prelims on my laptop with earphones (while praying 2 year old son doesn't wake up), switch to muted TV for main card and if history repeats itself, watch the main event with my now awake 2 year old with the added bonus that I can now turn up the volume (and permanently scar him psychologically if it's a bloody one -- we watched Hunt/Bigfoot together ;) ), go to %@#$@ work!

No one I know here follows MMA so I can't even pull an all-nighter with a mate and some beers every now and then.

I'm going to the same bar I always go to, luckily the price to watch the PPV didn't go up.  Our normal table was already taken though and we usually buy it the day before, so a lot of casual fans are going to be watching which is good to see.
